Whats your end goal for the car? Is it a race car? And if the rust is really bad, just grab another body. There cheap cars here in Georgia. You could probably get the body for a pull a part after its been stripped. If you have questions feel free to ask here. It helps the video anyways the move comments I have.

What else do you do to your cooling system? Because mine is running between 190-210f everytime when im fully on it. I can’t keep it below 190 😢

Hi. Building a race going RX-8 at the moment. I need an aftermarket stand alone tach gauge/shift light. Any suggestions on an accurate rpm signal location or method for a gauge??? Given its a rotary etc.
How in the world can you keep water temps below 200f? I'm running a koyo radiator (s1 stock thickness) and see 210 just on mountain roads.
Theres a couple things. You running the under tray? Have you tried running your fans on max all the time? A big part of it I feel is forced air flow. Extending a lip forcing more air at the Rad also helped.
Where do you get your blanks from?
lol like rock auto. By blank I mean not cross drilled or slotted. They’re still vented.
How is it fuel eficient enough for you to be an endurance car?
About 1.4 hours. But I got a 24G fuel cell that I need to put in. The original is a small tank think 16G with terrible fuel slosh problems when you get to half a tank.
200° it can not be the límit. My car in the circuit always goes between 200-210. The limit as far as I know is 220°. In the street you reach 200° easily it can not be the limit
Im just regurgitating what one shop said to me. I’m sure you can hit 210. But for our race car driving 8-20 straight hours we have not had a lot of success running it that high. I try to keep it bellow 200.
