I am with the preacher 100% here. Difference on tithes should not make believers enemies. As long as ppl agree on the gospel, the gospel should be our uniting point, period.

Even though he may not necessarily be right but people like him eventually gets Gods attention for the pureness of his heart

With all humility if I don't agree with my father I go to him to show him my view over a teaching, having discuss with him maybe in disagreement, i should keep my knowledge and not register my disagreement with my father publicly.
O God help your church
You dont go to hell for tithes.Tithes is giving back to the church God's house in the way to honor the Lord for blessing you, to obtain wealth or keeping you in a good financial position.Tithes is 10 percent when most governments ask for more God only ask for 10 percent.
Rather you give or not its up to you (I will say give honor God because he said 10 percent hallelujah 🙏)but do the bible speak on it? yes in the book of malachi3:10, numbers 18:26, Leviticus 27:30,proverbs3:9
Do tithes send you to heaven or hell no.
Tithes is just your obedience to God, you cant ask for what didn't sow.Look at tithes as your spiritual inventory when you need to get money you can tell God to give from what you been giving plus more.
Read Matthew 6:21, Matthew 5:7 & Matthew 32:23

Mathew 23:32 is not an admonishment for believers to pay tithes.The audience Jesus was speaking to were teachers of the Law, not teacher of grace or the New Testament.He was referring to the old order .Once Jesus died there was a change in the order of priesthood (Hebrews 7).
The book of Mathew is technically not the New Testament,it is the bridge between the old and the New.
For some reason even great great men of God have denied this simple truth .
