  • Yellow Bowl: A Case Study in Entrepreneurial Success
Founded in 2016 by Ishant and Twinkle Khurana, Yellow Bowl has rapidly evolved from a bootstrapped venture with just 2 lakh into a 35 crore Indo-Chinese restaurant chain, boasting a 10-12% ROI. This case study explores the strategic decisions, operational efficiencies, and innovative marketing approaches that have driven Yellow Bowl's success.
The Khuranas started with a vision of combining affordability and hygiene with Indo-Chinese cuisine. Today, they operate 16 outlets, with four more on the way, serving a diverse customer base. They have effectively used influencer marketing to boost their brand while addressing food wastage and maintaining an efficient business structure.
Looking ahead, the Khuranas plan to expand internationally by 2030 and introduce North Indian cuisine to their menu, showcasing India's culinary expertise globally.

35 cr revenue from 13 outlets which means per outlet revenue 23L on average 😅, did i do some mistake in calculation? If not this is for sure the numbers are highly inflated

35 cr divided by 13 gets you approx Rs 2.6 Cr per outlet per annum, not 23 lakhs

it's simple business not a startup , they're chasing profit by efficiency of processes , marketing , quality of food and service and compete on price , usp isme overall doing better or unique than the competitors ka hai , think of dominos , burger king , mcd ka kya USP hai ? just brand and food itself

Taking franchise is very expensive you can start your own Store or restaurant you just need marketing that you can do from Facebook ads or Google ads for specific area you don't need to pay royalty to these cheaters startups otherwise if your business didn't work they will not pay you a single penny and you were in loss and then waste your money on legal cases on these companies to recover your losses
