I started doing 100 push-ups a day a month ago when I was 12. I didn't to be weak anymore. Now I feel much more confident about my body. My chest and biceps are much bigger, and this really works the triceps. This is a great way to start getting into shape.

Btw i do not have back pain elbow pain and that kinda stuff, also dont have muscular imbalance i think. I do feel a lot stronger, but the visual changes have been minimal
Care for your posture and form when doing so brah! You might be starting off well but pay special attention if you arch your back as you progress

100 push-ups a day is great for sure, but definitely supplement it with upper back workouts like face pulls and pull-ups. If you continue doing 100 push-ups without anything else, you may end up with a shoulder injury from the muscle imbalances and poor posture.

Wow I started not being able to do more than 2 now I can do 8 straight after almost 4 weeks of doing 50-60 pushups Monday Wednesday and friday

Ive been doing 100 pushups every day for 11 days so far and they are getting easier and easier
I did 100000 push ups in 11 months: results were an unproportional "big" but really strong lower and mid chest. Also general stability when doing body weight exercises improved. You must become disciplined because 300 push ups every day is a lot.
I still wouldn't recommend doing it to this extend. 100 push ups every day for a month is enough.

It's a pain in the ... and also counterproductive to do so many pushups, when you're sore. Splitting the Pushups over the day also doesn't always work, which leaves you doing them at night sometimes. And the discipline will also take over when doing just 100 pushups. @@ISI.O

Doing only 100 push ups for 30 days will cause you to have a round posture so dont forget to work back muscles as well

Me for 2 month I have been doing 120 push a day, my best went from 35 to 60 and helped me for elbow lever and muscle up

As someone starting to work out, how do you squeeze your chest? I can only squeeze my stomach when I try. Or is it a thing you can do better once you get stronger? I’m pretty weak right now

@@AlfyDC it's probably when you get stronger. Well .. I am weak too and I will probably go to the gym with my new high school friends. But I realized when I try to flex my chest, it gets hard near the armpits. maybe that's it. Try not flexing the abs, near the stomach, so you'll notice it better.
Ait, as a person who has been doing this p much everyday (except a couple days due to injury), day 1-7 you will feel overtrained, be in pain, and your lower back will probably hurt this should continue for about another week. day 15+ you'll notice yourself able to do the reps faster and easier. I've personally never found wrists hurting, and only after about 30 days i noticed changes towards my core and triceps ironically not biceps. This is my experience, but at this point i notice no pain and i do it in the morning before school everyday (15 yo) or whenever i wake up/go to bed for weekends/holidays, confidence definitely improves and I hated it at first but about a month or so in i started enjoying it to the point where i hated not doing it about a week or so ago cause of injury to my hand. as soon as i got the green light to do them again i legitamentally did them again all 100. in like 5 minutes smiling the entire time. I don't exactly recommend it cause it is kinda dumb to do them every day imo though it is a great way to get into working out especially when younger! Plus confidence boost yk
Currently i am doing 80 pushups a day and will improve it to 100 or maybe more than that in some days
Do that like 3x a week and not everyday, your muscles need time to recover. Doing it everyday is not efficient as it will slow down growth however good job💪💪

When i joined gym 4 july I started doing daily 110
Now i do 125 daily
4 sets of regular push ups - 20 rep each = 80 done!
One set of declined push up ( i use that tyre that every gym have , i keep my legs on that then i do 15 reps) = 95 done!
2 set of Diamond push ups ( 15 reps each ) = 125 done!
From last week i can do these all by myself without taking support from anyone 😁✨

I do around 150-200 everyday throughout the whole day and I got pretty used to it
After years of push up training, I now have a 2 sets of 100 per day routine.

I did 100 push ups for 52 days i started with being able to do 40 after these days i hardly did 50 i was disapointed and started to do 200 a day i'm in middle of it and i can say i got better at doing push ups and now i beat my record 60 at once in like a minute (btw im 15)

The itchy thing is so real, when I first started working out it feels like grass needles were poking my skin
People that can do this is insane, I recently tried to start working out with a beginner workout but it mostly focuses on leg strength and after about 4 days of doing it I would get these horrible cramps that basically render me unable to walk for a few moments minutes at worse. Trying to find a new workout routine if anyone can do give me a few pointers
REST days are important... when people say they go to the gym every day it's for different parts of the body on different days (hence LEG days and CHEST days).
Don't overdo yourself, if you haven't been particularly active don't rush into it as you'll hurt yourself.
Try starting with push-ups till failure (for ONE set) on your first day, same the second, leave the third and (if your in pain the fourth) rest the forth if need be. Before subsequently repeating that pattern with other parts of your body (within reason, don't mess up your legs if you're meant to go out later haha).

Upper and lower body workout program is the best for you 3 rest days and 4 days in the gym 2 days for the upper body (chest back arms etc) and 2 days for lower body (legs)
i’ve been doing 100 push-ups everyday for about 2-3 months and it gets easier and you get stronger but you have to keep pushing yourself if you don’t you’ll get weaker(that’s what happened to me atleast)

I have done a 300 push up a day for 10 days and after that I am in love with push up
I tried this challenge I did 100 pushups per day but i got bored pretty quick so i made it 150 and got bored again.
eventually i took it up to 250 per day and can easily do 35 in a set.
(my max is 54).
i know this isn't for hypertrophy i was just experimenting on myself to see its effects, at first i was hardly able to do 10 in a set lmao.

Edit : people think i quit because of me not seeing significant change no i stopped doing those exercises because i thought it would be a dead end like how it said in the video

@pog diamond If you didn’t see much muscle development after a whole 5 weeks you definitely not performing the correct form or your diet wasn’t sufficient enough. At least you saw some changes though so there was definitely some hypertrophy.

@@starman4346 3 exercises and you choose the second best out of the three to comment on, shows how much you know about the exercises. Push ups create similar amount of hypertrophy as bench pressing.

@@SomethingaboutScreens that’s great! When I was at a track meet I asked one of my teammates to do as many push-ups as he could for a Gatorade bottle, and he had the shortest range of motion I’ve ever seen
I was doing 100 a day, 5 sets of 20 different times of the day. When 20 became easy I upped it to 30 then 40, I was doing 200 push-ups a day. Takes time but is very good for u just remember to not push urs self to early on.

Are you performing your push ups right?
Are you adding extra push up per day?
Are you giving enough time for your muscles to heal when being sore?
but if you did all of these and still no results,
i suggest you try a different workout routine.

Too add on you may not be doing them with a full range of motion and you may be doing them fast which aren’t the best for muscle growth. You may not have your nutrition right and you may not have been doing them for a long enough time. My increase was slow I started out not being able to do more than 3 but now 3 weeks later I can do 8 in one go

It’d be best to do 3 x to failure. Even if you don’t hit 100 it’s a way better workout and going to failure will help you improve
