Now is the best time to release ulidavaru Kandanthe sequel! After ASN all eyes are on Rakshith and KGF has put kannada film industry in global map, so the timing is brilliant to have a wider audience. Ulidavaru Kandanthe is a masterpiece, people were busy appreciating Lucia that time while the actual gem was UK.
Ulidavaru Kandanthe is such a good neo noire movie which also has authentic showcasing of culture,dialects, mannerisms. Brilliant screenplay with an amazing soundtrack to match it. My only complaint was cinematography, but since hombale is taking up the sequel, it'll be bigger budget production.

You can only know the essense if you actually follow the industry well. Cinemas like Mata, Directors special have unique flavours of dark comedy which Im sure isn't possible to see in other industries. Even low made Jatta, Gultoo has so much to give to the society but go unnoticed by mainstream kannadigas and media. Sad but that also saves industry from going completely generic, it's diverse because we are backwards.
