    This song has always sounded like it is so difficult to play let alone get the hang of the percussive rhythm of it. That’s why I’ve stayed away from it,lol. After seeing how you are able to play it,Cliff , I’ve decided to take it on!! Lol !! Thank You 🙏 Cliff!! Excellent tutorial!! ☮️❤️☮️

      I look back on the older ones and cringe a little... but I love the music and its always an evolution! I started seeing the dead in 1980 and what a lot of change they went through just in two years

    A lot of the country/cowboy songs have that galloping rhythm. new minglewood, Mexicali blues, El Paso, me and my uncle

    Awesome job explaining it bud!
    Great tutorial on this.
    My new band has been building a repertoire & this is a song we may be adding. We already do Me & My Uncle, so this seems like a perfect fit for us. Plus, I've always liked it better than Big River (for some reason).

      We've been doing it live and its always an\ delirious runaway horse gallop and we arrive at the end blinking and confused

    I think you were right originally that it does something melodically at the end of the measure there before the f#. it hits a g maj 7!
