    • @Noooiiiissseee

      It's a common right wing talking point. They hate when workers understand their rights.

    • @tremas3329
      @tremas3329 Před 22 dny +259

      Its an attitude towards Unions thats pretty widespread in the South. I grew up hearing about how 'terrible' and 'greedy' unions were and how they make Union members pay for being in the Union but dont actually give any benefits, make workers lazy etc etc. The anti-union propaganda is strong on the ground even today in large portions of the South.

    • @4yinyang
      @4yinyang Před 22 dny

      Well that is unfortunately what pretty much all anti-unioners believe, outside of CEOs of course.
      As always the right wing position is either literally a lie or straight up missing the point on purpose to battle strawmen.

Another time I had the most whimsical and nonsensical experience of another one thinking they were entitled to feel I slighted them by saying "no matter how you try to word or formulate this senator, it is impossible to argue away Bernoulli's coefficient of drag, unless the argument is a discrete mathematical proof disproving the basis to Bernounillis' observations, which led to the discovery of said coefficient. Dawg was so unaware and asking for the dismantling of his life, as the only thing binding me from being rude to him was my parents insistence on you know being good parents to where I understood my manners were a reflection of how they raised me and that I needed that reflection to be pristine. Not to be alarmist but I am fairly certain Hawley did not pass high school let alone college. Just off baseline testing of arithmetic, and cognition done verbally. It just felt like he thought we were in a high school rom com and I was his smitten high school sweetheart who would believe any lie he told. This is not the case, this fool took three years to investigate an issue costing unnecessary taxpayer money to be spent, close to 300K monthly, for me to have a level of security that is so unnecessary it is the first time in my life I seen this level of nonsense and I have been through the Congo mid conflict. Grocery store workers are probably the one exception. I knew a bagger in the early 90s that flat out said he wouldn't get paid a penny more and have dues taken out of his pay check. Every other union worker makes SIGNIFICANTLY more with benefits, and non union workers benefit bcs of that pay standard and competition. I knew union carpenters that made about $60 per hour if they worked Sundays. Us lowly laborers that weren't union made 15 per hour, unless it was overtime, about 22.50. Union will almost always pay better and have better benefits, but depends on the industry and the Union
