- In this video we share The Prophetic Vision of Pope Pius X.
Saint Pius X can be considered a hero in the fight against modernism.
Thus, his fight is relevant to our days since modernism is a remote version of progressivism.

Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, who became Pope Pius X on August 4, 1903 died on August 20, 1914.
Pius X is known for vigorously opposing modernist interpretations of Catholic doctrine, promoting liturgical reforms and orthodox theology.
He was beatified on February 17, 1952 by Pope Pius XII and canonised on May 29, 1954.
During an audience for the general chapter of the Franciscan order in 1909, the Pontiff appeared to enter a trance.
Those present remained motionless and silent. After a few moments, Pius opened his eyes, rose from his seat, and cried, "What I have seen is terrifying!
Will I be the one, or will it be a successor?
What is certain is that the Pope will leave Rome and, in leaving the Vatican, he will have to pass over the dead bodies of his priests! "
He then cautioned the witnesses, "Do not tell anyone this while I am alive."
Just before his death, Saint Pius X had another vision.
"I have seen one of my successors, of the same name, who was fleeing over the bodies of his brethren.
He will take refuge in some hiding place; but after a brief respite, he will die a cruel death.
Respect for God has disappeared from human hearts.
They wish to efface even God's memory.
This perversity is nothing less than the beginning of the last days of the world."
During his papacy, Pope Pius was less formal and more approachable than his predecessors.
He invited priests to dinner in the Vatican each evening and often snuck out of the Vatican through the garden passageways to visit the sick in local hospitals.
He improved priestly formation, instituted improved liturgies and music and insisted on quality preaching from his priests and bishops.
He modernized Canon law and introduced progressive scholarship through the biblical institute of Rome under the direction of the Jesuits.
Pope Pius X also lowered the age for young people to first receive the Eucharist and fought against “modernism," a theological teaching that he viewed as heresy and atheism.
He preached forcefully against war and violence and had visions that a war would break out in 1914 killing many innocent people that turned out to accurately describe World War I.
He did not live to see the long-term effects of the war but his prophecies live on.
Pope Pius X supported immigrants from Europe who fled to North and South America.
He created many new dioceses and appointed new bishops in the Americas.
In the last year of his life, he granted many private audiences with the poor and sick.
Rumors of miraculous cures began to spread throughout Rome after people visited him.
Two religious sisters who were cured through his prayers confirmed the healings after his death and endorsed his canonization to sainthood.
Pope Pius X died on August 20, 1914 at the age of 79.
The Italian press wrote, the “Saint is Dead.”
His tombstone is engraved with the words; “Pope Pius X, poor and yet rich, gentle and humble of heart, unconquerable champion of the Catholic Faith, whose constant endeavor it was to renew all things in Christ.”
He was canonized Saint Pius X on May 29, 1954.
The universal Church celebrates his holy life and example on August 21.
He was the first pope of modern times to be canonized.

I'm pretty sure St. Pius X is the polar opposite of Ratzinger. Ratzinger attended Vatican 2 wearing a suit and tie (although he was an ordained priest), pushing the liberal agenda. And Ratzinger as pope attended and participated in pagan worship. No way would St. Pius X have done any of that. The information I cited is out there and can be easily found through an internet search.

I thank God for being there and learning about Jesus, the saints and especially about St. Pope Pius X. I have kept all this in my heart. I had not heard this before so I looked it up. Sure enough, his parents were Polish immigrants to Italy. His father's original name was Jan Krawiec. He changed it to Sarto to blend into his new country. Thanks for that info. So I guess you could say that Pope Pius X was an Italian of Polish ancestry.

This was confusing. The narrator lauds progressive things the pope did but notes that he was “against modernism” without giving examples or defining “modernism”.

The biographies of Pius X do not record the Franciscan Chapter event. In "THE PROPHETS AND OUR TIMES," 1950, Culleton quotes Pius X as saying this:
"I saw one of my successors by name fleeing over the corpses of his brethren. He will flee to a place for a short respite where he is unknown, but he himself will die a cruel death."
This statement may relate to the Prophecy of the Popes prediction for Pope Francis which says: "He will reign in the final.persecution.of the Holy Roman Church."

First you must begin to care for others, stop judging, make a better world to live in where others aren't in pain and trying to escape it with addictions. Society must change. Men must respect women instead of using them for pleasure. Women who have been abused by their fathers and brothers act out in promiscuity need help and support to not continually be taken advantage of.
This is where you end unwanted pregnancy. Abortion will always be necessary in the cases of saving the mother's life or the dark evil of rape and incest and those who suffer from it in the dark.
