I love running my clones with no named characters, just a standard boots on the ground army. I'm also not keen on mixing P1 and P2 clones, and i definitely prefer P2 clones.
P2s are amazing until they start getting hit by pierce

What I love about Star Wars Legion is that it was finally an answer to the question I've had for a long time growing up playing tabletop games.

Ryloth Freedom fighters would be a great addition to their ranks, I feel they would be very cheap to employ but very stubborn to get rid of.
No, right way to make cheap clone unit is shineys, clones not very experienced yet, freedom fighters should be there own battleforce, or a mercenary that both rebels and clones can take, rather then a core part of the republic's army
@@calebbarnhouse496 I meant similar to how the Ewoks and eventually the Genosians are going to be handled. Padawan strike teams would also be neat where you can customize the Padawan to be whoever you want.
But if we are talking about cheap clones to deploy, then an Arf trooper or perhaps a Scout trooper squad could be a thing? Low in points, not great weapons but extremely moveable and survivable
Finally getting into SW gaming. Got an Armada fleet on the way and a rebel force for legion. Your videos have been immensely helpful. Republic is gonna be my next army.
Saving up to get my first Legion army! Thinking I'll go with Republic stuff first!
I have a soft spot for the ATRT with flamethrower. It takes some maneuvering to get it into range 1 without it blowing up, but once you do it's deadly. Especially against droids.

Absolutely LOVE this game! When I first saw it, I knew I had to get some clones on the field. I'm still green, and I don't have a great W/L ratio, but I'm learning and this video was a help in buying the next round of units. Thanks! Plus my 9 year old son loves playing the CIS, so it was a match made in heaven lol.

I think my favorite is the ARC troopers, I’ve painted each individual trooper different.

As a diehard fan of og battlefront 2, my favorite unit is definitely the saber tank, but i would kill to see the galactic marines, or jet troopers, largely because while arc troopers can equip jetpacks, that doesn't make them fast attack, and a fast attack unit armed with blaster pistols, as well as anti armor options would really make the jet troopers be a way to pop in and deal a lot of damage, and i would imagine they could work quite well with LAAT play, not needing to have 2 to support the first one you sent up,
yeah, right. I loved using the marines in bf2. great memories.
Republic is in a pretty decent spot right now. There have been many major tournaments with several making top cut.
My top five:
1. Yoda
2. Anakin
3. Wookies warriors
4. Saber tank
5. Arc troopers
5:32- Yeah, I do agree….. somewhat here. I don’t feel as passionate about it as you do but I do feel like there should be a Wookiee regular trooper option by now! I think the only thing holding that up is there too strong to have a full squad of them and the spec opps unit is too weak that you don’t really have any wiggle room to do it! I think if they changed the ones we have now to 4 in a naked unit and then for the new ones just have 3!?! 2 would just not really be worth it!
6:29- I 100% agree!!! True story! I know they “lowered the points” a little bit ago (and it might have been after this video was made or posted) but they are still way too expensive!!! And so are the ARKs! Now if they were way more OP then what they cost in points might be ok…. As long as they don’t raise the points at the same time!!!
I LOVE the Barc speeder! I always run 3 of them, usually with no upgrades. They are just a great unit for harrasment and have surprisingly good survivability :)
My favorite unit is the TX-130 Saber Class Fighter Tank. It has been my favorite vehicle in star wars since I was a kid. And since I started playing the game I love playing a double saber tank list
Love the p1s, BARC, & Yoda. Don't have a tank yet, but i'm sure it's fun, too

I just want a way to run an all jedi force.. Also the saber tank brings back some good memories of play original Star War Battlefront and BF2. Not the more recent remakes.
Best build for f2, Clone commnder and mortar you have reliable 2, inspire 1 for those f1 supressive and1 critical they become durable have a great attack and supportive rol with inspire and supressive

Is there a guide or a long tutorial somewhere? Every time I watch a legion video I learn new rules or rules that someone else didn’t use. I have a handful of games under my belt I just wanna make sure we’re playing the right way
Not playing Republic, but if i would go for Phase II all the time. Love the looks of them just so much more then the Phase I. After all in terms of their armor one of my absolute favorite designs among all those armors out there.
Does saber tank mean Captain Rex in some other language I am unfamiliar with?

The Republic isn’t my favorite army! But if the points change drastically and they get a bunch more really good units added then they easily to take 1st place!!! But I don’t see that happening for a while

Everyone talks smack on the laat/le. I love running them both due to how you can really turn someones plans into a hot soup sammich. Yes, it's expensive, but it's just too fun to use.
I like it also - but what I think is hurting it is the lack of a powerful, but slow unit to transport. I think we're overdue for something like Snowtroopers in the Republic, which could really benefit from that LAAT. Galactic Marines plz?

16:37- I have Yoda but I have never actually used him in a game before….. Mainly because I have never seen a list that I could use him that I actually like mainly because of the same issues with all of the Republic army! He is way too expensive! And then you add that to the way to expensive clones and ARKs and whatever else you want to add!?! Unless they are all naked units you’re not going to have many activations!!!
Theres no better feeling then AT-RT's gunning down the enimies vehicles and the hordes of Phase 2 infantry swarming the battlefield led by there powerful Clone Commanders.
