I'm actually the exact opposite lol, I love when asmrtists look in the camera as they're talking to you or doing triggers. I really enjoyed this video though. The only thing I don't like is when asmrtists are doing a roleplay where they're mainly only talking to you but instead of looking in the camera they stare at the viewfinder. It just really takes away from the roleplay. That's not relevant though cause Kel doesn't do that

I never know if I should comment or not, but this one feels like it is hitting too close to home, as weirdly enough I have used your videos for some time to actually practice eye contact anxiety. I don't hate eye contact, but I fear it. With eye contact my paranoia immediately start thinking that people can see or find all the insecurities and flaws and failures that envelop me like a second skin. To hear that someone actively research and think about how to help people with such problems is making me very emotional and, dare I say, happy. So thank you Kel for being so aware of how many different ones of us there are out there and your continued efforts in helping thousands upon thousands with their difficult times.

I think asmr where the artist isn't constantly looking at you is more organic and effective. For me, when somebody is just busy doing something without paying much attention to me, that seems to trigger the asmr the most. I had a job years ago where there was a receptionist who sometimes sat at a desk behind mine and just the sound of her filing papers in ring binders for quite a while gave me intense head tingles. I never wanted it to end.

Teşekkürler.I slept well to this special video with no eye contact which in fact more innocent thing that pure and shy people do I think. Also Japanese tradition teaches them not to maintain eye contact with others otherwise can be considered disrespectful. Anyways since I was gonna be sleeping I prefered no eye contact as well feeling shy to be watched while I'm asleep although it's a digital image, or video. But when I'm awake I get tingles looking at beautiful eyes like yours. 😍❤💘.
My coworkers say I keep eye contact for too long, and my boss said it creeps her out sometimes cause I go awhile without blinking. 👁️ 👁️ I do this intentionally, but I don’t know that. Lol

Yes most people were but some people, especially neurodiverse people, can’t do eye contact. It isn’t us being disrespectful, e just can’t do it.
