SAMSUNG Q990D 2024 Soundbar Review

The 2024 Samsung flagship Q990D finally supports HDMI2.1, making it currently the most affordable HDMI2.1 soundbar available. My first experience with a Samsung soundbar exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of vocal performance. Due to the setup with a projector screen, my TV cabinet is relatively low, and hanging the soundbar beneath the TV, directly facing the listening position, enhances the sense of spaciousness.
When I first attempted to connect my iPhone to the soundbar via the app, I encountered continuous connection failures, while my Android phone connected instantly. After finally establishing a connection, it likely automatically updated the firmware, allowing my iPhone to connect as well. However, I encountered a notable bug with the app: the two new modes, Private Mode and Party Mode, cannot be activated within the app; currently, they can only be activated using the remote control. This issue should be addressed promptly with a fix.
