Vox solaris was incredibly painful for me to grind and now DE does this... It's just like the smoking body ephemera all over again! I finally get it and then DE hands it out for free when I've been grinding it for years!
And I was only farming to get access to gyromag systems a reward from heist bounties because you needed 8 to get vox Solaris to rank 2 to get hildryn and now it only costs 1 gyromag system so I could have entirely skipped Solaris united and still got hildryn, but whatever rank 5 Solaris united still helps with xaku I guess
I usually dislike it when things I worked for get made easier, but yeh good riddance to this grind. No one should have to do that.
I did all of the Fortuna grind by the time Deimos dropped and it killed the game for me for years. I'm so glad new players don't have to deal with the same pain
i ignored solaris since fortuna dropped (i never cared for min maxing in wf), now i'm finally leveling that shit up XD
fortuna was fairly easy to max doing casual creature capturing with ivara to standing limit... with that being said if you have friends that want to max solaris united now, help them out going for kubrodon hunts with the pheromones to draw out the rarer versions to max their standing in like 10 minutes if you can get perfect captures
It must've been really bad because I don't even recall it. I recall grinding toroids, but not the debt bonds.
The grind I _do_ remember loathing though is the bloody vent kids. Absolutely hated those little brats. Didn't find the K-drive stuff enjoyable at all, so I quit halfway through.

I’m on mobile and ask a clan mate to join me in a mission I host. He said it was still playable. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t the best. I wasn’t on WiFi either just straight data. Just fyi. I was at work. Glad my boss didn’t catch me.

Good thing I literally just got entrati level 5 yesterday (and I’ve been playing for years just didn’t care about the faction stuff until recently) and just got the chrysalis level 5, Have arbiters at 5, still need Cavia (level 3) , Cetus(level 3), Fortuna (level 2) and the Amp sellers both of those are 1 or 2 maybe… I don’t count vent kids cause they suck imo and I’ve never even talked to necraloid once 😬
Necraloid is actually pretty easy. Just grind iso vaults, which you need for a necramech anyway.
Yeah, Necraloid isn't too bad. The only slight drag to is the Father Tokens, but those are the second easiest to get (after Mother's). You'll get lots of the mats for Father from the containers around Deimos and in the Iso Vault, it's just the rng of what you can trade for how many tokens that'll slow things down a little. Necramechs are a blast, so it's pretty worthwhile.

I'm so glad that I completely ignored Solaris entirely before I took a year break. I also agree that standing limits need to be raised but not removed. I'd say a base of 30K with an extra 1.5K per mastery rank would be acceptable. If they remove it then players will blitz through syndicates and then bitch that there's no content in the game. I'd also like to see the token system from the Entrati syndicate become a regular thing, Cavia feels like a step back.
To be fair, the daily limit doesn't benefit us as players. It benefits DE because it means that people will play the game for more days. Yes with the cap removed, people with no social lives will blitz through the reputation grind in no time at all, but that's their problem. There are days where I have a lot of time to play, and there are days where I don't have time at all. Leaving the choice up to the player to decide to blitz or not is better. But I suppose that your idea is also totally fine. With your numbers and my current MR of 24 I would have 66K standing per day, which is already insane. Even having a base of 20K and an extra 1K per MR would also be fine since it would total at 50K per day.
They already changed daily limits I doubt they will change them again, now MR0 players get like 10k standing instead of 1k and they get around 1.5k standing per mastery level...
The current cap is 33k standing a day and that's plenty enough to rush through new content imo, going to 60k would cause the issues potato mentioned in the video.
@@jofipa9953 Yeah but that issue is caused by the players themselves. Whether you do the grind in 1 day, or spread it out over several days, the total time that you spent grinding will still be the same. The daily cap just has 2 effects. It prevents people from doing too much in 1 day and therefore forcing them to take a break (which is good), and it causes players to return to the game for multiple days (which only benefits DE in terms of statistics). I am in favor of people exercising restraint by themselves, instead of someone else deciding that you should take a break right now. But that's just me. I can also see the argument for the other side.
you actually liked tokens?? i like the voidplume/voca system better. it’s more fun to search the tile sets for those things then just speedrun missions for rep.
Cavia has the tokens and the normal missions combined so it's not that much of a step back to be honest.
as a ps4 player that host migration notice haunts me. loading/connection really needs to be sorted. and I'm so glad I held off on doing the vox solaris it was way to much of a grind I'm rank 23 and have completed the map but skipped it cause of how bad the grind was
Yep, thats me I quit at the Fortuna grind. Then came back for New War and ended up grinding Toroids to get a decent amp. Glad the requirements are dropped now, but yeah that hurts XD
Oh god I didn't think about that. A mobile gamer hosting a mission? An OPEN WORLD mission? oh man lol. But yeah I remember hearing something about priority when Switch became a thing so I doubt we'll need to worry too much about it unless you were to join a mission already being hosted by a mobile gamer.
Happy to see the changes. I only speak for myself here but I wasn't too extremely bothered by the roadblocks, but that was a mixture of not allowing myself to focus on a singular grind to the point of burn out and the mindset of "I really freakin' enjoy this game". Still it was needed at this point and I'll be happy to see more new player friendly optimizations in the future.

i was there for the vox grind and all the new stuff that they're adding i think is awesome. like when it comes to the new packs and the new auras mod. I know some people are salty but i am not, only cuz that means i can start recommending this game to my friends that are a little more casual about this game without feeling like they're going to drop the game after a day or so lol
Im glad iheld off grinding most of those. Only i went to the trouble of doing was the quill because hunting eidolons was fun as hell back in the day

Ah vox solaris, I did it last year I farmed the same mission(which is super short) for 12h before getting the atmos drop, that was super fun. I then got it 4 times in a row....

I did the Solaris United grind back when Fortuna launched, but it was Vox Solaris I eventually gave up on. Been sitting at like 44k standing with Little Duck for *years* now, lol. I'm looking forward to finally ranking that one up (as a returning player there was a 4 year break in the middle there, too, to be clear).
I'm okay with the daily caps, honestly. Would it be nice if they weren't there? Yeah, but I get the game design reason for them. Also, there's so much to do in this game at this point, so many different factions with their own standing caps, just go do some of those. If you're the veteran who's got everything maxed out all the stuff you want from them, and that's why it's an issue for you, then think about it as a sort of early adopter tax.
Like all the people who invested in the Melee Influence w/ Dual Toxocyst combo when anyone could see that nerf bat being wound up as soon as they heard about it! No way that was intended. lol

i freaking hated the fortuna factions grind. im so happy that the new generation of players or the ones who are putting it on the side are not gonna suffer the same fate that me and a lot of others did.

I just finished the grind legit last week. The only thing that really needed changing was the frequency of the drops of bonds, not really lowering how many needed to rank up. Although I guess this solution was easier from a developer standpoint

Just downloaded and linked my accounts. However, I've run into two problems that I hope DE covers:
1. I don't see a way to heavy attack with melee weapons (rip heavy builds/incarnon melees)
2. If you have auto fire on, even if you are actively pressing/holding the melee button, it will interrupt your melee combos to start shooting when you look at an enemy
If they will fix these two things, I think it will be quite nice.
I leveled fortuna to max a couple weeks ago. Now that little duck will be easy I'll actually play fortuna. Need to finish up cetus as well
As someone that was putting off grinding Syndicates (Rank 3/4 on most) it's great to hear it's been made less grindy. The worst part for me before was doing bounties to get debt bonds
I couldn't even play for the alert mission giving us back a little part of what old fortuna had taken

I do wish they do something about the daily cap. Sucks I wasn’t playing when they removed it for a short while, but maybe double it since about 30k (depending on MR) daily isn’t much, especially once you get to T3 the syndicate where it becomes a waiting game since it takes more than a day to get the standing needed to rank.
Man..been playing on and off since launch on ps4. Now on ps5 and downloaded mobile today..man I can’t imagine what it’s like just getting into this game now it’s huge

It seems to go in waves, ill have migration then back to solid squads. What helps is going into busy lobbies since most of thrm will be pc or console
problem with the hosting priority is when joining into a arleady running mission, maybe a solo Mobile player started the mission and you joined into it and get a shitty experience because of it. I always wanted a way to force a host because i didnt mind people joining my mission but i also didnt want to get migrated or have a laggy host when randomly joining others.
Lucky I didn’t grind any of this. Now imma go ahead and do that
That vox forturna rank up reduction is insane. I didn't have an issue with the main one at all. Just sell materials to ticker and grind a little bit, which yo uneed to do anyways and you're there.

They should add an option to only matchmake with certain devices like only select ones I think it’ll improve the quality of life in warframe
Just maxed fortuna and vox last week.
We actually wanted to try that out with the mobile and pc and we got into a funny thing. When we started together, it would give the pc the host straight away each time yeah. However, when we tried to have the IOS player be the actual host first and then joining afterwards so that the phone would normally be the host, we got host migration to one of the pc's the moment we tried to join an IOS hosted mission. Was funny to us as the system wouldn't allow the phone to be the host unless we forced it with some bugs and have the game crash on us within a minute or 2
Way tpp many people are COMPLAINing in my alliance about the easier grind for Fortuna/Vox Solaris - and i don't understand it.
Only one point i kinda get - the alliance leader said something like, if the "grind" is reduced for future updates aswell then these updates will be more short-lived than they already are.
But we are not the ones who have to do 10 years of content to get where we are right now - and some people wanna play WF, but also have a live beside of it.

It's just that, yeah. It doesn't feel good for the thing you worked for, you earned, to be given out for free. Doesn't mean it's not healthy for the game, though. Old necramech grind or railjack grind as a requirement for new war? Ick.
Fortuna Grind was insanity, becuase of how integral it is. Amps, profit taker, good amps, Gyromags, too much necessary shit locked behind this bs

Honestly while I can well be considered an older player..I think we will see dreamers bond mostly on a frame like Nidus. A frame where you don't wish to remove any of his abilities(except the 4th maybe) but he still would benefit from the energy regen, while keeping a lesser health regen like rejuvenation would give
But there was only 1 aura mod that had 10 ranks back when fusion cores were a thing that was steel charge which should've been brought out as primed auras with significant enhancement over the normal variants

Cracked a couple relics solo on IOS today to try it out. It’s certainly not optimal. I only got like 9 void traces out of it and while the controls can probably be learned (aiming may be easier than on console) the movement is so god awful that I’ll have to be very bored or will just use it to do some busy work like mods, or orbiter/relay stuff.
stuff like bonds are really easy to farm imo and I dont see the reason to reduce so hard on them, but ones like toroids I do understand due to how much of a pain they are to get in the first place and is the reason I'm still not done with vox myself even though I've 100% all the others tbh
also too I think the limit should upgrade as the person gets further in the syndicate rather than out right eradicated
I see DE is back on their new players priority phase, I guess we did get multiple end game missions in recent updates, so I can't be mad about it unlike a few years ago when the "veterans" were starving gor content and the new players started to get to "end game" and were wondering "so now what" with the answer being "Eidelon hunts or Kuva Liches", both of which run out pretty quickly
I personally didnt have any issue with Fortuna reputations, but that was because I didnt have any hurry with them. I just ranked everything overtime without issues. Still its a good change.
lmaoooo one of the times being a procrastinator has worked in my favor because I never got a single level in vox solaris specifically because the grind was dumb

Noooooo, literally finished grinding solaris united last week and I'm almost done with vox solaris, I thought the gift from the lotus that gave us bonds was all
I started back up again and grinded lvl 4 rep with Fortuna to get the stuff needed for Garuda, the bonds were nothing with the Love Days event letting me buy them. So luckily I avoided Fortunas true grind and now the rest of them have been nerfed too so I can just move on to them not feeling burnt out.
iOS Host hasnt been bad for me yet but ive only done a few missions today, prob not a lot of people in the mid-tier, they're either brand new f2p or whales doing higher lvl content than me already lol.

gave up vox solaris years ago. just stuck with 111 amp for everything. i was just starting to rank up vox as my last frontier for warframe then this happens. thanks DE, i guess. saves me so much time. but to be able to buy gyro mags at rank 1? that's what people been asking for years! lol
I ranked the first 2 ranks of Solaris United without entering the orb vallis because my PC was crap and couldn't load it back when it was released. I ranked up by buying the debt bonds from ticker. I didn't find it that annoying but I'm glad it gets reduced for those who haven't maxed the syndicate
I can't see them ever completely removing daily standing limit unless they got rid of certain things like relic packs from those factions that had the cap removed.

bro i literally started getting bonds yesterday. i have 2-3 for each. today i learned i’m already done. life is good.
I'm not even sure if it takes internet speeds into account for hosts. My friend and I play together all the time and he has mentioned that there is never an issue but as soon as I join a pub like a capture mission or ESO I'm suddenly getting a whole second or two delay just picking up an ayatan or opening a locker. An ESO I was in, it was near impossible to spore anything as Saryn and enemies would just stop moving.
I have gig internet with a solid upstream too. Hardware is WAY more than enough to host, I host plenty of other games. So why does it choose a console over my setup?

I mean priority is only a factor if you're all present before the mission. If its two people on IOS, one has to host and then you join the mission.
Left warframe for a longggg time but I came back and wanted to grind sum so I can catch up, saw I had no fortune standing grinded all the way to old mate and got 777 amp ts literally makes me think dark things
being only rank 1 in Fortuna, I’m still gonna ignore ranking up for it (for now)

Hit Shadow only last year it took so long. This update doesn't upset me though, as I'm glad other people aren't going to go through that terrible, terrible grind.
I just decided to do fortuna cause I’ve been putting it off for 2-3 years and now all those resources I spent gone.
Now we just need a faster way to grind for game changing equipment that is so common on most endgame builds its seem as almost necessary to many players.

As far as the Rep limit goes, I'd suggest something like: For everything except the max rank, you can get enough rep to rank them up in a day, but you can only rank them up once per day (like mastery rank, where you have to come back in 24 hours)
For the max rank, that is where there is a daily cap (probably raised slightly from where it is) just so folks can't max rep every faction and buy out the store every day

Hullo. MR 17 here. I’m one of those players who never did a Fortuna grind. It’s so funny my friends and I were mentally preparing ourselves for it and then this drops. Lucky us.
Lol I played Warframe on Xbox for years and never played plains or the other open worlds cause of the insane grind. Honestly doing relics and fashion frame and most importantly market is what kept me playing. I'm excited to play them now.
Gets nuked about a week after i just grinded the game nonstop to level it up 🤦🏼♂️ but I'm glad the vox solaris got nerfed too because I'm still levelling that up

I just ranked up fortuna (after years) before this fix, but I am so glad new players don't need to experience it
I was half prepared to do the grind and already am rank 1, I reached that like a week ago. That's 11×50 standing wasted.
That solaris grind reduction is not the whole deal, they have more chages later with Dante Unbound if what they said is still holding. And actually being able to buy the systems from the lower rank is a much better improvement than the lower amounts.
IMO Ticker should always have one offer for each bond type in the shop
Have an idea about standing limit, but i wonder if it would break the game, would work like this, after you reach Rank 5, you can sort of "level up again", after getting 135k Standing, you give 500k Credits and a medium sized quantity of all materials, for example, to reach rank six with Fortuna you would need 500k Credits and 10 of each Bond, after you do that, your daily standing limit for that Syndicate is now the max standing of 135k.
I guess it could break the game in a way, but at the same time it would solve the issues many have with standing limits, but i feel like it would balance it out over time, you have a lot of veterans with a ton of fish, gems, bonds, etc, so they would max that standing very quick for the first days, or even weeks, but eventually their reserves would run out and things would go back to "normal" again.
Also, for the sake of balance, new Syndicates would only get this mechanic after a year, or until the next Syndicate is launched, so people still have a reason to login every day and not burn through the newest content super fast.
The hirudu gives free flat health, new mod gave free energy this new mod is icing in a already amazing system
