Luxman M-02 can't set bias on the right channel !! see why?

Hi Robert...if you look into my videos somewhere I'm dure I've worked on a M02 before....
WE used to call that the black ring syndrome. It can be caused by to cool a soldering ieon when built OR a component lead being subject to vigrastion that can crack a solder joint. If I suspect a vibration problem I';ll wrap a wide around the component lead and run over to a solder trace away from the cracked joint.

@@VintageAudioFever i worked for a power supply company for decades and we started to ru into problems when we started to solder TO-3 type devices directly to circuit boards. GThe flexing of a heatsink in relation to the PWB would lead to cracked joints, we found adding a wire in parallel to the solder joint solved the cracked joint problem till we reworked the design to attatch the board more rigidly to that heatsink.
Between being half blind and having a tremor my typing leaves alot to be desired - just one of the curses of being 76 years old.
