- This is a taste test/review of the Taco Tico Soft Taco, Crunchy Taco and Sanchos.
* Taco - A crisp corn tortilla filled with our specially seasoned taco beef garnished with shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes.
* Soft Taco - The same delicious ingredients found in our original taco wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.
* Sancho - A large soft flour tortilla loaded with our specially seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes.
The combo was $6.49 (before tax).

I remember eating at Taco Tico a lot when I was a kid back in the 80’s. I loved it back then but, of course, being a youngster I liked pretty much any junk food. Not sure if I would still enjoy it but I’d love to try it again. I had no idea that they even still existed.
I miss Sanchos so much! I grew up eating them and haven't found a Taco tico in years!

I love Taco Tico, well the only thing I ever get are the crunchy taco's with the hot sauce. The building is still there where I'm at, but its closed

#2 is my go to meal from Tico, I prefer the crunchy tacos. If you get the Texas Sancho it's a nice meal in itself. It's the sancho covered in a sauce and sour cream and tomatoes and black olives surrounded by tortilla chips.
Loved the video! Taco Tico is a favorite of mine from when I was kid! Was so sad when they shut them down in my town! We have one again and it is always a treat! The nostalgia and value is great! My go to is the combo burrito, taco burger and crunchy taco! I've subbed to your channel and can't wait to watch more videos!!!
Thanks! We also had Taco Tico when I was a kid. They all shut down a while back but now I think there are 2 near me. They were around long before the Taco Bell days.

Taco Tico was the bomb growing up in Florida. Taco bell could not catch on in my hometown till Taco Tico closed down here. It was doing gang busters but the IRS shut them down because one guy had all the franchise around here for miles.

OMG!!! Taco Tico still exists!! I grew up in Louisville and used to go to the one on Preston Highway almost every day for their taco burgers, and to play the Tron arcade game in there. We live in PA and take monthly trips to Louisville to take my blind father in law to get a months worth of groceries, and we're always looking for new place to eat at along the way. I'm definitely going to Taco Tico next trip!
They were closed for a long time, but have now reopened a few locations.

As kids in Springfield, MO my sister and I would ho nuts for sanchos. They're basically a soft taco with diced tomatoes, rolled like a burrito, iirc.
I don't recall where they came from (around say....1974)
I haven’t had Taco Tico in over 30 years, but back in the 60s through the 80s you ordered your food with the spice level you wanted whether mild, medium, hot & extra hot. I think they had a green chili option too.
The Sancho is a Wichita thing. Most of the fast food taco joints there offer a Sancho including a couple of legit Mexican places. Someone made up the name and I’ve never been able to figure out who, but it has no basis in Mexican culture or cuisine. As Taco Tico started in Wichita it includes the Sancho on their menu. But you’re right, it’s essentially a bigger soft taco wrapped in a bigger tortilla.

I love taco tico my go to is always the meal you got i love their sanchos i get sour cream with it and a mt dew but i haven't been to a fast food restaurant for a few years I'd say a year or 2 before the pandemic and i went to Wendy's wendys and taco tico are my favs and bk when I'm craving a whopper i love whoppers. Great review I'm late to this one cuz i am a fairly new sub I've only been a sub of this channel and you and tami review channel for a few months so I'm trying to catch up watching all the vlogs the bloopers wich i love ect. The Sancho and soft taco are basically the same thing. Same fillings and everything 😅 maybe the size of the tortilla makes the difference? Oh well still looks decent
