As to the divination key, the stone is a mood stone. If you hold the key below it, it starts to change color, which I thought was very neat! Loved the mug and the keys as well. Snow globe was awesome, blanket got taken by my granddaughter instantly, lol.
But the email was not a mistake on the descriptions listed.. it was about how they told us about 7 items that were suppose to be in our box, that were not included or planned for our box after all. One of the items was suppose to be an add on and didn’t get put on page properly. Which we would not have bought because we would have thought in our box. So subscribers would have missed out. So that item will be added to shop later to buy separately as will probably some of the other missing 7 items. Get the picture?
In other words, we got shorted 7 items after they advertised it and charged us an additional 20.00 for this last box and were made to wait so long. One item was not only Not included, but after advertising it as part of box, they are selling it seperatly so we have to pay even more and they pocket the extra cost. So although they did send us 6 items, 4 of them very nice, they didn’t even bother to replace the other 7 items with something else or similar . in truth they committed fraud. The value wasn’t there, the advertised items wasn’t there, and they didn’t let us know till boxes already being sent. I’m not sure what happened since they had the additional time? And I guess the one item they were waiting on didn’t come in, but that doesn’t excuse the rest. They went out on a high in some areas, but a low point in customer care and honesty. Should have been more for sure. Litjoy was my first subscription box as well, loved them. The keys were what cemented my wanting to collect, like you. So this saddens me greatly. I too am a Wizarding trunk groupie now and will stay loyal to them instead. By the way- just got my newest WT box today…Congrats!!! Whoo hoo! Way to go buddy!! ❤😉
I completely misread the email, but after reading your explanation and rereading the email, I must say that I'm very disappointed in the way Litjoy handled this. I sent them an email explaining my (as well as my subscribers) disappointment in how they handled this issue. By no means is 50 account points even close to the value of 6 items and saying "oops" in an email days before customers received their boxes, making it impossible to cancel, is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not sure if their will be additional blow back for how they handled this or if they will step up and do the right thing. Either way, it was a really poor way to close out the Magical subscription boxes and "take care" of their loyal customers. On the flip side, the Wizarding Trunk continue to go above and beyond to make me smile with each box and getting the Editor's Choice was just the icing on the cake. Thanks for watching.

The keys are what drew me to LitJoy, too! I was lucky enough to discover them at the beginning of the keys, but dumb enough to pass on Honeydukes and Weasley's Joke shop. At the beginning I thought I would only collect the keys, but that quickly spiraled out of control. Now, I have a fairly large HP collection including many gorgeous LitJoy items like the rememberall, prophecy orb, and always potion bottle. LitJoy introduced me to adult HP collecting. I had no idea there were such gorgeous items out in the world! I fell in love with HP when I took my son to see The Sorcerers Stone when he was 6. Both of my kids loved HP and collected toys and a few replicas when they were kids. They are all grown up and neither of them collect HP anymore so I was thrilled to discover there is a world of adult collectors out there and I could start buying toys and replicas for myself instead! The keys and the HP Village from Dept 56 are my two favorite collections. They bring me a lot of joy. It's kind of ironic.... the buildings and the keys that open the buildings!
I collected in my youth, but I never collected like I do now or for one fandom. As for the keys, they are absolutely the best. It's funny that you said the keys and the buildings they open, because that was my same thought when I redid my display cabinet. They both compliment each other perfectly. Thanks for watching.

The Hagrid's Hut mug ranks among my favorites with the items that Litjoy has released to date. And I do think it was the right decision to end the crate. Hopefully, they will be able to put their energy into curating individual future magical releases with greater care. All is well as long as they continue their Alohomora key collection, which is unmatched in material quality, design, and creativity.
The bad news: The artist who has designed all of the Magical keys for LitJoy announced on instagram that her collaboration with LitJoy has ended.
The good news: LitJoy has worked with other artists who have designed keys for them for different fandoms. It's possible they will use these other artists to create more magical keys.
The iffy news: LitJoy has been hinting in their Lunacorn Lives that they are done with HP and moving towards creating "witchy vibe" merchandise instead.
So, I guess we'll see!
The keys are what drew me to Litjoy in the first place. My thought was, if they can consistently make amazing keys, then their boxes should also be amazing. Hopefully they continue the keys for quite some time. Thanks for watching.
If LitJoy had put more items like the Wands Up light, they would still be in the magic crate business. The blanket is nice also. The two last keys are very good! But they never should have never been add-ons. The mug is spot on! The book mark is a miss. Glad they went out with a bang!
The reason why I started subscribing was the keys to begin with. They are absolutely unmatched, and I hope that they will continue the line as they said they would.
As much as I would've loved for the keys to be included, I don't see how they could've done that without losing money. Each item was high quality, but the box just needed more. Thanks for watching.
