A three-story Tequesta residential building has been evacuated and deemed unsafe for residents by a building official, village authorities said Wednesday.
fear is the root of control and over reaction. one building collapse out of a million in 100 years and now the over reaction from people who arent smart enough to be in the positions they have. what exactly is the fire chief going to do if the building collapsed while the residents went in to collect their items?
What do they get for controlling people I mean I would understand if they are trying to divide with fear but there is nothing to gain here. I think the reason why buildings didn't collapse 100 years ago is because they wear not that old 100 years ago. But new building are built cheap to save cost. They just have to replace or fix what ever they cut cost on. A lot of this buildings get sold a lot meaning the original owner didn't give a f.
Get used to it. Building codes were always questionable for anything built prior to Hurricane Andrew (1992). Without aggressive action against climate change, Florida will lose significant amounts of land in the next 20-30 years. Many buildings near the water will become dangerous and unstable.
So what are these people going to do now that all these people are supposed to leave.
00:01 that was funny
I bet it's been hard
