- This 1966 Nova built by Kindig-it Design has a 560 c.i. custom built Nelson Racing Engine with Twin Pro Mod Turbos that is tuned to 2,000 HP! This is the most complicated engine in the history of Kindig-it Design. It includes 2 radiators, 2 transmission coolers, and 2 fuel systems. Watch the video for full details. You will be amazed! This Nova sold at Barrett Jackson 2019 Lot #1366 for $260,000.

The Rolls Royce Merlin engine that powered the Spitfire, Mustang and many other WW2 aircraft had a max power of 1710 HP and for a car to have 2000HP is just unimaginable and may be uncontrollable on full power. What a car.
The scary thing is that's the detuned number they had to take power out to make it reliable. It can easily make up to 4000hp if you change the fuel and some other things.
The Kindig crew is right there with Foose!
This is my favorite car on the planet ...this Nova is like the Mona Lisa of cars ...the paint job is insane ...just a beast of a Nova ..

I love these little shoebox 66-67 Nova's. I had a 66SS 4spd w350 back in 77 in Chicago. I dreamed of building it into something comfortable and fast. Now i am 67 and drive a Mercedes 2 dr coupe. I look at what some amazing young American Craftsmen can build when we are given the tools.

Has this car ever run on a drag strip? I've just watched the episode on Discovery Turbo and had some worries, if not downright doubts. Does it really put out 2000hp ? It looked like a standard transmission when they were building it, which wouldn't handle even _1000HP_ yet alone two, so it was good to see it has a proper race transmission now. The chrome turbos are a worry that close to the hood as they are surely going to radiate more heat being so shiny. Those rear tires are all wrong as well. There's no give in that low profile rubber so they are going to spin up way too easy. - I just had a good look round and got zero hits for this car hitting a drag strip.

@@oshimishubunboy6274 Sorry but Dave Kindig is right there with Chip Foose..maybe a tad better and creative..dont get me wrong I like what Chip does got nothing but respect for him..dude is a legend in the custom car world no doubt...but Dave Kindig is on another level with his builds...did you not see the Copper Caddie?..that build was off the chart ridiculous..a rolling masterpiece..and dont sleep on Iron Resurrection dude..Joe Martin..that guy does quality work and I like his show and he's got a really good quality painter that knows shades of color..

Until kindigit learn how to do two-tone interior or color scheme they will never set foot in Ridley's floor. Full red scheme takes out the life of the beautiful overall work.
Its BEAUTIFUL ride but it's too busy and powerfull for me. This car would not last on the streets of Detroit. The pot holes and flooded streets would kill it. Or some idiots would try to steal it!
Kingdom customs do very good work on the cars I would pay the money and get good quality work not listen to bull shit toe rags with excuses for rubbish work

Looks too fancy painted. Looked better in bare metal with the old wheels. Grey primer and bare Ali would have looked nicer.
