I made this robot toy aswell. It's fun to build and understand how machines works if you like building things. It might be dificcult to make it alone for a 8 years old . Infrared it's not working as I expected. it can't even see a huge wall. For this price I shouldn't expect alot anyway. I'm sharing my opinion by hopping it helps people know what to expect before buying it as things written on the box are increasing expectation a lot.
It’s problem with sensing walls is the location of its sensors, if he is angled agains the wall it will not work.

Вместо шестеренки Р7, в набор положили 2 шестеренки Р4, а для того, чтобы все шестеренки встретились-зацепились и начали передавать движение в наборе не хватает еще одной Р3

IR sensor is fickle. The wall ledge giving robot trouble
Yeah, the problem is is its location, so it can't sense any thing that's not right in front of it.
I got this but it wasn’t smart enough not to fall of a table. The wires came off by me being stupid, so imma get a new one to try again. Theres many things i wanted to explore for initial use

Can you make a video to show how to make it's leg move because I had made it but the legs are not moving....
Try checking that all the gears in the motor are in place. If they are correct then check that the legs are connected properly
Also try clicking the button once it is on
