So I don't have any more clips for a legacy so I decided to try out Evrima for a bit. Holy fk this game has a lot of bugs and stuff. I played for about 20 hours and have this video done already and I have 1/2 of the second video in the bank.

I dont know any game that doesnt have its fair share of bugs/problems. But I felt the pain in a lot of these clips lmao.
bugs sure. but the isle has always been and always will be a complete pile of poo.
all games have their bugs but the isle is a bug itself at this point.
I was avoiding a bigger croc trying to eat me when I fell in that waterfall hole. I made some noise and the other guy then fell in as well. Best bit of Isle karma.
Goddamnit I’ve gotten stuck in that same spot as a deino. It’s a literal death trap.
I got out after 2 minutes only to fall in another one 10 seconds later and die ther insted
I thought so too, but then found there is a part of water texture you can swim up in, and lunge out of this 'patch'
it's a rule of a thumb now to avoid any near waterfalls places
I was stuck me too but you can escape by swiming to the south top and then to the north holding shift

I like how those tiny AI birds are on the Ptera's menu, but a single unit can 1v1 an adult pteranodon super quick.
The bugs and problems wouldn’t be so bad. If the game was more forgiving that is.
Ow ye, just wondering if anyone knows this bug, but I grew a 40% deino found a chicken swimming in the middle of the lake, and when I bit it, my deino just flung up out of the water and died. I think I found a chicken mine :(

1:40 I know how to get out of there for future reference. Just one less problem for deino players. You swim towards the back of the hole and swim upwards carefully until you're facing the exit, towards the river system. Then lunge out. Note: Guaranteed survival only for small crocs.
Yeah did that but got stuck in another hole after 10 seconds and then died there
even better than the legacy ones
I'm losing my second croc to that spot at 1:39 in NA1 right now. Hate not being able to force respawn....
Its funny right, that spot has been there from day one and LOTS of players have told the devs but nothings changed. It would take less than a days work to fix it
Devs: we have to remake the game because legacy is too bugged to keep updating ! The code is spaggetti !

You do know you have to check the icon for the bone break thing before you jump, right?
I do now but the reason i jump was becasue 5 seconds ago before i became an adult i was able to do the jump.
These places for getting stuck and trapped are... painful. I think this is what should be tested too tbh. Just to get people to explore deep enough to find out if there are place like on 4:06. I hope these spots will be fixed, saw a lot of vids with these already. :/ I do like the map mostly, but these still feel like a spit in the face. Cliffs are just... too cruel sometimes. Same with rubberbanding and corpses disappearing or falling through textures. :/

An icon showing a bone cracking means you'll suffer damage from landing as herrera.
For the water, there is a setting that I believe after being maxed out made it look fine, probs something texture wise. I know it's a pain in the ass to tweak setting in this game, but hope it helps
the setting is ambient occlusion. You select that and the water no longer flashes.

one more evrima pain got added: the fog everytime you pick a new dino or log in and need to relog to get the actual weather
I'm so lucky I've never experienced anything this bad

That spot at 1:49, if you hold spacebar while looking the direction the water was going you swim up, you cant see it but there is water along that rock. Go all the way up and if ur big enpugh climb over the rock, if not do a 180 and swim ON THE TOP OF THE WATER YOU HAVE TO BE AT THE SURFACE and sprint swim over the gap and go down the other side. Took me 4 hours to figure that out
today i had fun playing the isle. i was dilo and a sub carno atak me. it was a great fight he fought well but i killed him with 10% hunger left. got perfect diet, a drink, and safelogged

Not gonna lie the sheer amount of stupid ass places you can just stuck really ruins the game a lot for me, Got a cera stuck in a half meter hole that is covered in floating grass. So now i only play something that can jump fly or climb :D Fing carno cant even lift its feet 30cm to get over the smalles pebble so f that

4:42 I like how the subreddit always gaslights people that the gravity is fine in Evrima and "you should just get good" - obviously fall damage is broken in this game.
I'm not sure if this fall damage is a bad thing. That fall I would say is around 3-4 meters if it was in real life. My Carno weighs around what? 1.5 tons. That is a hefty fall for something that big. But that is if it's real. It doesn't feel good in-game and I think that is the most important for us players. But tbh I was on the last hp so death at this one I feel is fine I got baited. But I get what you mean, I'm just 50/50 on it as of now.
Dort make complex games, complex never work in the Natur.
This does not want me to play Evrima at all.

First of all, the video is not a "look how unfinished the isle is". I made 4 videos like this one on legacy which everyone with more than 2 braincells know is not a "finished game" This type of video is also made on big games like Minecraft and Terraria look them up. NOW, it's funny how you say its an early access. Yeah it sure is but the point many of the players have with the devs is the lack of content EVERY SINGLE PATCH. 4 years of development and we have seen nothing more than a new map. 1/3 of the dinos that were in legacy. Unfinished content, glitches, and bugs that have been in the game from day 1 and still not fixed. In every update, they add something cool, like Dilo or Herra only to change something else like the diet or stamina system for the worse. If you go to isle discord and open balance feedback you will see hundreds of players SCREAMMING the devs to change the stamina or AI spawn again and again. Changes that will take 1 hour to do. No one asked for the stamina change but Dondi wanted it anyway. When we told him it was a bad change he just said, "Just don't sprint everywhere" A mental thing to say when you want people to travel this giant map for a perfect diet. "oh you want this food? Well then you have to go to migration zone that is on the other side of the map. What you mean you cant go there?. You lack the diet to get the stamina to sprint there?." its like this with every single update it always has been and always will be. Dondi is a known liar, and manipulate. He has tried to blackmail some of his players so he could defend his pedo friend. I don't have hopes for this game at all and 70% of other players are with me.

Because there is no food anywhere, i ate from a corpse. This i didnt know, would give me sickness. The reason i didnt know is because you first throw up after like 5 minutes.

Agree and disagree. The game looks amazing, ofcuz its made in unreal 5 so it has to. I understand about the water flashingn and other small bugs (which should have been fixed along time ago) play like garbage i totally agree on. The desinc, stamina, hunger, diet, ai and all the other stuff is a massiv problem. The biggest is the desinc. It needs to be fixed. The core about this game is pvp and pvp have been cancer for the last… forever tbh.
You can stop de water flashing by turning on Global illumination in the settings because when u turn it off water flashes for some reason hope this helps.@@Rank1GalliPlayer

I like this map better than spiro by alot. Spiro was just grass and jungle. Gateway is not perfect it has some problems that need to be fixed, but I can see it as a good map if they fix the problems the players encounter. This ofcuz we know will not happen.

@@profilenotfound2525 eh, it's only from a certain distance. what is much worse in my opinion is their fucked up lunge which feels like being stopped by every single shore. with the previous lunge speed and how slow the drinking dino stops its animation, even eyes appearing would not have done much
