Hi Vanessa, what a sweet video! The baby shower was just so beautiful and special! It was so dreamy, like something out of a magazine! If you had not mentioned that it was a baby shower, I would have thought it was a wedding! Your sister-in-law is very blessed to have someone put so much love and talent into her special day. I would have never guessed the number frames were a DT DIY! Can you show us how to make the Welcome sign? What font did you use? I love it! I’d like to see more Cricut DIYs from you! Maybe shirts, even. I know what you mean by people asking you to do things on your Cricut. I get taken advantage of a lot usually by teachers when it comes to my Cricut. Of course, I’m happy to do it! They have very limited time and resources to decorate. Last December the library asked me to decorate their Polar Express event, lol. But you have so much freedom and flexibility to create what you want and when you want! I do a lot of party favors, cake toppers and decor with the Cricut! It’s been a great outlet. I just want to tell you that I didn’t have great results with the foil, either. I used them for labels to put the year and name of the child on the back of school ornaments. For those starting out with Cricut, just allow yourself a lot of patience, grace, time and trial and error. Do test cuts using a small star shape when starting a new material. And also, Vanessa, the contact paper sold at Walmart makes for really great affordable transfer tape! I used it to transfer vinyl onto paper, when I don’t need it to be sticky, like bulletin board paper. I rub the contact paper onto my jeans, after I already transferred my letters onto the contact paper, to make it less sticky.
Wow - a polar express theme sounds amazing!! That is sooo kind of you to help out with the school decor. 🥰 I’m sure they appreciate you so much! I’m almost relieved to hear you struggled with the foil- I was so sad because I thought it would have been a lovely touch. I’ll try it again on the Cricut card sets and see what happens 😊

Thank you - I think I’m going to give it another go with the Cricut card packages to see if it will work better. I was a bit sad about the failed DIYS. Lol. Aww thank you - my SIL is so sweet so happy we could do and hopefully made her day special.
