  • Bungalow For Sale on approx. 0.75 acre site with more land if required
Located in very pleasant and well populated rural locality, within 1 km of Curry Village, this property has a lot to offer as a family home.
Curry is approx. 3 miles from Charlestown and 4 miles from Tubbercurry, and the subject property is just 500m from the N17 (Sligo - Galway road).
The Bungalow is approx. 40 years old and is need of upgrade and modernisation, as it has been unoccupied for the last 3 - 4 years. It should qualify for the Vacant House Grant. The grounds were magnificently landscaped for many years with trees and shrubs, and while it is a little un-kept at present, it has potential to regain its former glory with some work and green fingers.
    Accommodation
    Hallway: 4.6m x 1.6m
Sitting Room: 4.3m x 4.3m with open fireplace
    Kitchen: 3m x 4m with fitted units

Parquet Floors in much of the house
    Generous Tiling
In addition there is an option to purchase land at rear of Bungalow extending to approx. 12.5 acres plus a further 3.8 acres a short distance from the house. Most of the land is good quality. The land at the rear of house has sheds for livestock plus handling pin and cruch. This land can be sold with or without the residence.
Overall the property would make a fine family home plus small holding and early viewings are recommended.

New subscriber here (and already know to set the playback to half speed), and while I am seeking the quintessential stone cottage, I rather like this property. I absolutely adore the raspberry coloured bathroom suite! One does tire of the current decorating fad of "everything must be shades of grey or black" (you can wrap me in those dismal "colours" when I'm in my final resting place, not before, thanks!).
This will make some fortunate family a delightful home, with not too much further investment required.
The floors do raise the question of dampness in the foundation though, seeing as the flooring is peeling up in most of the rooms.
