To remove the wheels you just grab the wheel on each side, and twist it back and forth while pulling outward with a little tension.. Also I've thought about with the older metal Chasis trucks was to maybe apply heat to the axle which would soften up the plastic inside the rim a little bit...

You could use tap oil or just wax , when you tap. Slow and easy.

Interesting. Although, I pretty much knew all of this about 10 years ago, when I took apart a lot of these older monster trucks. And..wheel swaps were definitely possible, it just took more brute strength, or a few 'homemade' tools to remove them. The trucks out there now (two companies, HW and Spin Master) have both made it a little easier. I have swapped a lot of HW bodies onto the other chassis, and wheels from the Spin Master trucks onto the new HW bodies and chassis. Spin Master is held together with a Phillips screw, and the new HW trucks are held together with the 'elusive' triangle screw (the one that no one makes a screwdriver for...lol). It can be removed with either a 'custom made' cut down straight screwdriver, or a T6 Torx can be used, but first you need to find one that actually fits in the small hole in the chassis. ;) And, there are a few tools available to remove and press back on the wheels and tires. ;)

Hmm, I've looked there multiple times. I'll have to keep looking for that! Thanks! ;)

I've had some of the hw monster jam trucks that has a Phillips head, also the ones with the stupid triangle bit, I have replaced with a Phillips screw on reassembly to make it easier if I were to be taking it apart in the future
