- After the installation of the two 12 inch subwoofers, some Clarity was definitely needed in the car. I installed two mids and two 6x9's running on a 5000watt 4 channel amplifier to balance out the scales.

Nice video. Leave the bass boost at 0. Using the 2 to 1 rca splitter means you won't have stereo separation from left to right. If you don't have the proper tools to match your amps to your headunit use this method. Most headunits distort your rca signal when they are turned all the way up. Say your headunit goes up to 40 go ahead and turn it down to say 36. Next unplug the rcas from one of the amps. Start with the gain screw turned all the way counter clockwise. With your headunit not set at it's highest volume number start turning the gain clockwise till you hear distortion then at that point just go a little counter clockwise till the distortion isn't noticeable. Now unplug the tuned amps rcas and do the 6x9 channel then upplug those and do the mids. Hope this helps.

ay laatie. Lekker to see you care about clarity and bass. Good balance and always a plus when you can enjoy music! In my XTrail I have ppl saying they can hear instruments on some tracks they have never heard before! I run Kenwood double din, 6 x tweeters 4 x mids (all alpine) direct off the head unit and a monoblock Bassface DSP amp running 2 x 10" Bassfacee spl10.1 2ohm subs. Nice balance

Tune both the amps gains with a multimeter bru. U won't go wrong. That way u know u getting the most clear and efficient sound without damaging any speakers, amps or electronics in the car

Neat bru...but just some advice how many rms is that mono block? I think you should get some welding cable 35mm pure copper and run it straight from the battery to the amp and do the big 3 upgrade....so the monoblock is not starved for power and hit protect all the time
A tip is that u can bridge 4 channel to the mono

That is the name of the game in Car Audio, assuming you do a proper install, you get what you pay for. Spline shattering sound is not cheap. All these cheap Amps is rated in peak power, not RMS. I understand you working on a limited budget, but once you hit a million subscribers, you will afford Alpine Amps with Kicker Subs. Keep up the good work:)

I have 2 questions that I'd like you to share your point of view on simply out of curiousity as perhaps theres something different we can including myself can learn.
1.Why not get a generic backboard an store the original that way if you sell or remove temporary or permanently you still have the original to put in.?
2.Why do you face the box upwards? The reason In asking because i know bass punch more or rather theres more flex pants down movement if it bounces again something solid in this case facing outwards towards the boot would give a better bass.Perhaps a DCB reading we can do so we can all learn.
*If you gave the time remove the subs an in the box insert 45degree corners in the box also painting inside with wood sealer.Then check the diff in sound quality.

@@LateLateCustoms nice system good job. What u should of done was cut the wires shorter to the distribution block to make it look neater and face the subs in front to sound better and the air from the box will flow better.
@@LateLateCustoms and to use all the rca's u should install a equalizer also known as a preamp where u will be able to tune mids / highs / bass from it. If you are going to install one use the clarion , soundstream , planet audio eq for great sound.
You should consider putting the 6by 9 on top of the panel....i dont think youll hear full sound of what those speakers can push....but iget it....youre trying to make it all flush so no1 notices

I think a monoblock produces a more power than what a channel would on the 4 channel

you talking about replacing rca cables n adding distribution blocks but you don't say why?? replacing rca cables as far as my experience and for your knowledge is to gain voltage. more voltage equals better output. distribution blocks............ I'm gonna teach u in another leason
Are u talking about voltage from the head unit to the amplifier? If so more voltage doesn't mean more output , if u don't level match your head unit to your amplifier u will send through a clipped signal to your speakers which will inadvertently burn it.

@@ygbodybuilder3023 gain is set by getting the square root of power multiplyied by resistance! That will give you correct voltage! The other way is a special device that will show you when there is distortion! The device is more accurate coz manufacturers sumtimes dont give true power rating on speakers!

You need to do a whole lot more research on how to set amplifiers up as far as your gains and frequencies and a word to the wise don't use your DB settings they will actually blow your speakers because they give you an unclean signal to your speakers yes you might think that it sounds louder but that's because you are clipping them to death do more research lots more
