It's like You Tube was reading my mind. I was going to see how best to cook battered portobello mushrooms either in batter, or little spray cooking oil and some bread crumbs. I don't have an air fryer yet, just my oven. :))
Here a tip, toast your bread crumbs in the microwave with i little oil until they are lightly brown. It make the air fryer work look better without over cooking.
It's interesting they say same temp half the time because I've literally never heard that. I've always heard lower 25 degrees and decrease cooking time by a quarter or so. That's always worked perfect for my Ninja Foodi. I feel like maybe they thought that was too difficult for their audience? But I would think not lowering the temp would cook the outside of some foods too fast where they start to burn on the outside but aren't done on the inside.
Why get this is If have a well functioning convection oven? With a raised wire rack on top of a flat tray and convection mode ON... It should be the same?
