I remember when these were new. Those tail lights were AWESOME when seen at night. It was advertised as the man's car, but alot of women bought them, easier to park.😁
I found that the parts from a '68 T-Bird worked too, with half of the connections not plugged in! I went to an auto wrecker, pulled the parts out and plugged in half the connectors and it worked!
That's great. I know that even for Cougars much of the electronics become more simplified in the years following 67
Love your Cougar. I'm from CT originally and I'm pleased to see a fine example of a car that appears rust free! I hoped the sequencing was available as a 3 separate lights option and I don't know if there's a setting in the kit for that, but if there is, perhaps you would show how that looked in another video?
There is a setting that mimics the 3 section oem pattern.
Can you show a video where to plug in the flasher module
Very cool, I have to say that I like the look of the stock lights with LED better personally. They look very bright and more modern with the program you are running. Thanks for sharing this bro.
I totally agree!
Wow 😮👏👏👏real nice work bro
Thanks
In my opinion, while this application gives it a more contemporary “Audi” vibe, the top & bottom edges are not as crisp and consistent and too much of the red lens stays dark. But I do appreciate the instruction and demo. I’m a boomer who once owned a ‘67 XR7 back in ‘72 and sure wish I had kept it! Cheers!
There is definitely a warmth to the original incandescent bulbs.
Wild stuff. Glass cleaner is among the most versatile canned goods.
it is
Hey man have you done any more on the cougar?
