      +Nashawn03-12 Those belong to Allegan Schools, I don't work there. I just used their lot to film that first clip after I dropped off at their high school.

    • @ICFE300
      @ICFE300  Před 8 lety

      +BusLover Forever Most of them have been scrapped. That school districts buses are now run by a contractor and I no longer have anything to do with them.

    How's It feel to be in a bus again?

    • @ICFE300
      @ICFE300  Před 8 lety +4

      +ICBUS0730 It felt good to be in a school bus again, I'm always in a bus. They wanted me to take one of the new Visions but I was like I'd rather have a good ole CE so they let me take it.

    • @ICBUS0730

    why do bus drivers obsessevly over use the hazard lights?

    • @ICFE300
      @ICFE300  Před 8 lety +1

      +TheJakeman789 I don't recall using my hazards at all in this video.

    • @TheJakeman789
      @TheJakeman789 Před 8 lety

      +ICFE300 I know but at first they were on and plus just a general question. I've seen drivers use them for reasons other then being broke down

    • @zachster435
      @zachster435 Před 8 lety +1

      +TheJakeman789 Hazards arent just for "When you break down"

    • @EVERYTHINGus3
      @EVERYTHINGus3 Před 8 lety +2

      +TheJakeman789 We generally use them for any situation in which the bus is put in a higher risk driving circumstance:
      a) backing up, as a commercial vehicle is at a higher risk when in reverse to its size and large rear blind spot
      a) parking near a lane of traffic, where the bus is on the side of the road or in a place where other traffic is moving near or through, some loading zones were parents are also allowed through qualifiy.
      c)during pre-trip inspection, where we must go through and test all the mechanisms of the bus to ensure they are working properly; this includes lights.
      d) through constructions zones or during very limited visibility weather; construction zones to give warning to other traffic that the bus is moving slower than normal and limited visibility (such as heavy fog or blizzards) for the same reason. The bus is travelling in the lane of traffic at an abnormally slower rate due to certain and potentially hazardous conditions.
      e) non-exempt railroad crossings, where many commercial vehicles(especially buses) must stop before the tracks, open their windows and door, listen for any trains, and cross the track once the check is done; hazards must be activated for this situation too. This is mandated by law.
      ...Or the driver could have just forgotten they had them on, that happens sometimes too lol
