The best vampire movie of all time, which depicts vampires and vampire hunters in an original way. Even today, no better could be done than this film. The directors are not even aware of this wonderful film. And this music is the best among Dec I have ever listened to. I remember being very afraid of Valek while watching this movie in 1998 at Bakırköy Cinema74 cinema hall. the magic of the 90s was different. I send my regards and greetings to John Carpenter, James Woods, Thomas Ian Griffith and all the valuable players of the team 👍
Love this film and the great music! I was fortunate to see it at its world premiere at the fantasia film festival in Toronto back in August ‘98. And it was the unrated version. Much more gore and vulgarity if you can believe it! I was about to turn 19 and what a great birthday present to go see this with some buddies. To this day I wish that the unrated version could be released on video.

The western genre is what Carpenter truly loves. It was really awesome of him to combine that genre with the horror/vampire genre. It makes it really unique IMO.
