The mummy had the best que and it was fun. We went on it 10 times. The big dueling roller coaster is not worth the wait. If we didnt have fast passes, we wouldnt go on it.

as a viewer from singapore, it’s nice to see a little love and recognition for the park! :-)

I'm sure the Singapore park will have some improvements once the Minions and Super Mario enter in a few years.
Universal Studios Singapore was my first ever big theme park experience I went there when I was 5 years old when Transformers the Ride first opened so this place has a special place in my heart.
I always find this park interesting as it's layout is very much a mashup of the original Universal Studios park and Islands of Adventure. I wish they had named it something different to distinguish it a bit as it is a weird hybrid of both parks in Orlando. Universal Studios Beijing feels very similar as well.
I really like the mummy themed area in the park! I go there every few years :)
I need Universal to bring Far Far Away to one of the American parks. But bring a ride themed to the "I need a hero" scene from Shrek 2, with the use of the Rise of the Resistance Ride Technology! Also, I need Donkey Live too lol!
I visited this park a bunch of times as a little kid, because I grew up in Singapore and it was a fun weekend thing.

As a Singaporean, i remembered when the Park first opened, BattleStar ALWAYS dueled. Its quite disappointing that they've no longer do that now.
for how long it takes to get riders in, they need a new coaster
Due to malfunction and also keep closes for repairs. They redesign it and cars now also been cut down
Never been, but I will say, it’s unique out of all the parks buy design.
I wish Madagascar was still around for y’all.

As an annual passholder for around 20 years of my life. I grew up going to the Orlando park. Now that I live in Las Vegas. I frequently will go to that park as well. Both are different despite having some of the same attractions. Universal Singapore reminds me of how Universal Studios FL was laid out. I only visited Singapore for around 3 days. But my sole purpose for that visit was to cross Universal Singapore off my bucket list. Now I've just got to make it to the Osaka and Beijing parks.

Just visited in September. Obviously nothing like Florida but great fun for what it is!
That Jurassic Park rapids ride looks phenomenal. The ending is a bit anticlimactic, but overall very fun
haha the first time i went i was not informed of the drop and thought it was a slow rapids ride so the ending was thrilling for me
Same. Had no idea there even was a drop. When it takes you up the lift, I was wondering what was going on. Lol
"Small" but has more attractions than hollywood.
Honestly, the bigger park can be a chore, one spends more time walking between attractions than on them. And in Singapore weather, walking is a huge turn off xD
Does it have more attraction? Hollywood has so much more to offer. They have Harry Potter and Nintendo world. And also the studio bus ride that no other park has.

Universal Studios Singapore is definitely an underrated theme park! The reset itself is impressive, and was designed by Micheal Graves architects (the hotel even takes that name) and so features impressive landscaping and architecture!

Before minion park, there used to be a Madagascar style theme land which has an Carocell and a dark boat ride as it’s attractions. Both are great and I missed them very much
Edit: I’m quite shocked we are somehow the cheapest universal studios as it’s one of the most expensive tourist attractions in Singapore(the food is very expensive also but yeh)
I never been to universal Singapore but I did not know that we moved the Madagascar boat dark ride until to you mentioned it right now [for Minion land].😮

I still prefer the Orlando Mummy over the Singapore one, as I think the fake ending scene is way more of a "wow" moment. Besides that, I totally agree with you. However during my visit in 2020 (few weeks before covid closures) I had the impression that everything felt more used / run down and less well maintained compared to Orlando.
Agreed, i live in singapore and go to uss all the time and I went to uso multiple times as well and uso is definitely maintained better
Great theme park, but unfortunately the rides are often neglected in maintenance. Many elements don’t work in the rides e.g. the T-Rex in the river rapids. Also for some reason they still haven’t released annual pass either, they stopped after Covid but haven’t brought it back? Anyway nice seeing a review from you about another universal park, let alone one in the country I live in.
The Battlestar roller coaster stop dueling due mutiple mulfunction and keep having issue when it open. They also re build the cars and even remove a lot of elements
I was there earlier in the year and every time I got to the front of the Puss in Boots line, it would breakdown. It happened 3 times, each time after a ~40 minute wait. Never seen anything like it. An alarm would go off, all the staff would run into a little room and lock the door, and they’d tell everyone to leave the line.
This looks like a really cool park especially the Jurassic Park and Shrek areas.
yes, i have went to this Universal park. it is quite interesting for my second time going there, i have a fear of heights, so i’m scared when i ride on outdoor roller coasters. but in indoor roller coasters, i LOVE it!

Went 2 times during 2015 & 2019. The park is very small, but lots of thrill attractions. Will be visiting back when minion land open in few years !
I’ve been to this many times since the beginning (being related to the owners, even went on a tour before the park even officially opened). With the connection I have, I’ve never had to wait for anything, so I was spoiled. On a weekday, this park can be done in half a day.
The best offering at this park is actually the Halloween Horror Nights. It’s very different from the other ones because they do their own storylines and don’t use horror movies as themes (so they don’t need to pay for IP).

Last went in mid 2010s, that time lockers need to pay. So now it is free? Battlestar Galactica was closed for a long time during the period i went
We love Universal Studios Singapore so much! It is really a fun theme park and great price! ESP after our horribly boring experience at LegoLand Malaysia!

The ride queues on most days are NEXT TO NOTHING. As long as you don’t go on public holidays and school holidays and weekends then you can go on rides repeatedly.

Being from the UK I see it as very unlikely that I would ever visit here. Nonetheless an interesting watch.
I'm visiting this place again. The Mummy was amazing and it will be my top priority on my next visit.
All of the Mummy animatronics are broken down though, it never got a refurbishment from opening day till now 💀💀 Halloween horror nights was a great disappointment as well compared to the US ones
i hope this park keeps its shrek 4D show because it is the only one left if universal studios japan doesn't have it (in a theater where another show is also shown) anymore
In your opinion if deciding between a family holiday to Singapore and Universal or the the Gold Coast theme parks, which would you recommend 😮
This is a tough question if you're already here in Australia. USS is better than any of the theme parks here for families (and will be better next year when Minions opens). However there is only one theme park where the Gold Coast has many. As a city outside of the parks though Singapore is 100x better than the GC in our opinion!
Extremely busy and average wait time was an hour and some 90min. We were not there in peak season either.
Its normal. USS is very very very popular TP in SEA
I went in April and was bitterly disappointed. The operations were terrible with queues well over two hours for all attractions and an overselling of fast pass. Managed to get on just three rides all day.
A big chunk of the park is closed for Nintendoland being built.
The Waterworld Show was closed.
Half the food options were closed.
The gift shop around the Mummy Ride was boarded up.
Also half the lockers were broken and the fact they charge so much money for a single use and you get metal detected before going on a coaster is ridiculous.
@@havaskaMetal detected?? Omg. I just remembered that. I went in 2022 and they didn’t let anyone bring their phone with them in the 90 mins queue for the coaster. That’s more like a torture
I went to USS on 2022, and I was traveling alone. The wait time for the coaster was like 90 mins and I snuck my phone in with me in the queue only to learn that I was not allowed to bring my phone with me and should have locked it in the locker. They still let me onto the coaster since I’ve waited that long. But it’s crazy to think universal thinks people should wait in line for 90 fucking mins without their phones with them??? What am I supposed to do for 90 mins in the queue?
Been a while since I went to USS when it's newly opened. Since then I've been to Disneysea and USJ a bunch of times. Looking forward to return to USS once Minions opened. Though it's the same as USJ ride, it's still miles better than Transformers Ride imo.

For me Who never go to other theme park in the world, this tiny theme Park is the Best in my life.
It is the "worst" Universal park, however, it's not bad either. I think it's fun if you have an extra day to kill and go. If you are limited on your vacation, I would skip it even if you are a hardcore shrek fan. Shrek doesn't look as pretty as the photos. My husband and I enjoyed it because we had the time to go and would go if we were a local. It does remind me of old school universal because it's hard to feel like you are in this land if you can see two other parks next to it. Disney def has that down and jk rowling demanding it really helped the parks.
I will say the park food is better than orlando.
the smaller size and affordability of express pass made it a very low stress park easily completed in less than half a day

It’s not really fair to compare it with Hong Kong Disneyland cos this park is just really disappointing and frustrating. Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest one but imo still offers very good thematic experiences and quite a lot of unique rides and shows, and the service quality and overall park maintenance is on par or even better than the other parks, given the state of Disney world rn. Hong Kong Disneyland still feels like a classic Disneyland, but USS feels like a regional park that’s just using universal’s branding. Almost like a knock off.
There’s really nothing much to see after one or two visits. And I don’t even live in Singapore.
