We saw the Dream Box Tour last night (4/3/24) at the amazing Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD. I've been fortunate to see PMG many times over the past 30+ years. This was the first time I've ever seen Pat play solo and I was amazed! That venue has perfect acoustics and every artist I've ever seen there remarks on how it's one of their favorite places to play.
From beautiful, very quiet and introspective electric/acoustic nylon string to raging looping amplified baritone guitar, the show ran the gamut of styles and sound textures. The pieces with bits of the Orchestrion blew my mind!
Thank you Pat for a wonderful evening of music. And thanks for talking to us, telling us some stories and sharing your personality.

9/30/2023: Pat made his 2023 Dream Box Tour stop back in Michigan, home of Detroit aka Motown. He performed at the Royal Oak Theatre tonight and the show was nothing short of incredible! He never disappoints!
Detroit has a special place in Pat’s life and heart and we, Michiganders love Pat to the moon and stars!
Enjoy and appreciate his presence while he’s still blessed to be alive and performing!❤

Just got home from the Royce Hall show. My wife and I really enjoyed it. The spectrum of songs, telling us about your guitars and hearing your stories made for an unusual and intimate show. Because of your request, I did not see 1 cell phone in use. Like the good old days! Thanks for such a great show!

Love all of his group, duo, quartet, large ensemble and trio projects but for me, a solo guitar live performance is the ultimate Pat Metheny listening experience and it doesn't get any better

What an experience this concert is! Last night (4/5/24 - Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown, NJ) was the first time ever seeing the LEGEND in person. I was totally fixated and massively impressed UNTIL the 1 piece he played that sounded like he threw his electric guitar and amps into a trash compactor. It was totally unexpected and not pleasant to listen to, but technically, I'm sure it was a masterpiece (I would love to see it in written form!) The last few sets were a very pleasant surprise - I only wish I could have heard my VERY favorite piece by PMG (First Circle). Maybe it was in there somewhere and I just didn't recognize it? 🤔 Anyway, I have been a fan since 1984 and will always be. Deeply regret having missed all prior live performances but so thankful to have the ability to watch in cyberspace! God Bless you Mr. Metheny, safe travels and good health on the remainder of your DreamBox Tour!

Saw you at the Capitol Theater on March 21st. First time I have seen you live. What an amazing show!! I wanted to get videos, but I respected your wishes of no photo/recording. Fantastic concert in West Reading, PA in April. After being a fan for nearly 40 years, I was thrilled to finally see Pat perform for the first time ever in my life. I am really sad that I never got to see Lyle and PMG live but I will always love the music.

I took my daughter to see him in ft lauderdale after buying tickets very early. Talk about deception. This show was not advertised or promoted as a solo act. i was excited about expanding her 29 year old music horizon only to be disappointed in what i would describe as a class lecture. You could feel the audiences shock and disappointment in what many thought could have been their last time to see and hear a cherished artist. Lyle Mays was probably laughing his ass off! Pat you owe us one!

Saw Pat last night in Park City Utah at the fabulous Egyptian Theater. It was especially exciting to listen to his Orchestrion components! This show brought personal aspects of Pats unbelievable skills to the audience. I am ready to go again tonight!
