Liv had a nice game and showed aggression that was missing early on in the season. Looking forward to the UCONN Iowa game. Syracuse looked strong in the first few minutes of the game but UCONN had them figured out early on. Syracuse was still within striking distance but slipped away in the 3rd qtr. Good to see Makurat is back as she makes few mistakes. If she gets hot, its over. Iowa is a much more mature team than early on in the season so watch out.
What's interesting is that I don't think Paige and Caitlin will even be guarding each other because neither of them are the best defenders on their teams. Christyn will likely guard Caitlin. Of course there will be some switches..... but I don't think its really Caitlyn v Paige all game.
I just wish that the announcers would actually call the game instead of moving to "the big picture". At around 43:46 UCONN scores, then the Syracuse player steps on the line on the inbound and UCONN gets the ball back, we hear a silly story about Holly coming to work, UCONN scores, and not a word of play by play during any of this. This is not baseball where there's plenty of room for stories.
no need for a blow by blow account when one is watching the game. if there's is a "big play", a slow-mo is shown. or, if one is watching from youtube one can pushed the button back for a replay. also, there's none when one watches it in the stadium anyway. a bbb is needed only when broadcasting through the radio.

You could always go back, but one would have to presume that you fully understood the strategy and tactics being used, as well as knowing the players names. I would like the PBP to give me the information concerning the play and the analysts to tell me what's important. Some sports lend themselves to longer stories (baseball) but most don't.

This fact somewhat bothers me when players like Evina passes up wide open shots to pass off to someone else. Not sure if that's the game plan, lack of shooting confidence or what. She kicked butt in HS and now seems to more defensive minded. Somebody besides Paige and Chris needs to shoot from the outside. Oh yeah, Makurat is back.
@@erics9213 well i read it few days ago that E believes someone need to step up to do the dirty work, that's probably why she barely takes any shot and play more defense. You can tell it by the way she got a lot of steals and passes the ball more.
That was absolutely a Dirty play it infuriates me when they same it wasn't a dirty , it's a proximately black game and a little white girl is taking all the head lines. If it wasn't a Racial play why are Black men allowed to play women's college basketball as a Transgender.
