I feel this is a nice change of pace, seeing as every other Asuka user featured here is utilizing Case 3 - while Komekome uses Case 2. Although Gobou is known as the "Case 3 Asuka Master," in Asia, Komekome is known as the "Case 2 Asuka Master." I enjoy watching his matches to gain inspiration to play Asuka (as a Case 2 user). Regarding this set, it appears as though the mix-up capabilities of Case 2 have stumped FAB in much of these matches - as he never blocks the overhead, and does not appear to be looking at the spells. FAB generally performs much better against Asuka than this. However, Komekome is also a very strong player, so seeing him win against FAB with Case 2 Asuka is nothing to be all that surprised about...

Asuka is such a fun, diverse, expressive character that allows players to specialize in a certain area with this character - along with the freedom to allow players to explore different Test Cases - ASW has stated that they put _a_ _lot_ of time and effort into this character, and it truly shows through the actions of top-level Asuka users. In regards to Case 2: If people in this comment section complain about Komekome's Case 2 Asuka gameplay - when there is by no means any "Solitaire" going on - then I have no words. With Gobou stating that Case 2 Asuka is one of the weakest characters in the game, it is probable that it's also one of the most balanced and honest characters to fight against in this game...

Most chars were just gorrillas but now you have chars doing completelt different things like Asuka who can literally lock people down with his special moves as well as cross up, change deck which changes his move selection, regenerate his mana and even use a super to hand pick which spells the player wants to use. I started using him a few weeks ago and he is tough, but slowly getting the hang of em. Hes probably tbe most unique character in the entire game.

So while in 3 you get better conversions off suck staff and fire cubes, in case 2 you get to reap the benefits of having higher health since you don’t have to drain it as often. This is on top of having more options to open up your opponent like the gravity staff instant overhead and mix spells. It looks like case 2 is less damage and more resets, he’s lowkey more of a brawler which I think is really cool.
Honestly, I think Asuka as a whole is one of the coolest characters regardless of test case choice. Between two test case 3 users (Gobou and Zando for example) they both already play the game in very different ways. Throw Komekome in the mix and you really see how every Asuka player plays the character so differently. The expression that you have while playing Asuka really makes him one of my favorite fighting game characters.

In Sorcery, you have 2 types of casters: The one's from Soulsborne games where they spam all the spells until they run out of Mana, or accurately, test case 3 players. Then you have the Battle mages that weave their spells as a complement to their physical abilities.
We went from every character having their particular dramatic downplayer/"guy" to literally the Guilty Gear Strive cast creating YT accounts, the GGStrive High Level Gameplay Community never ceases to amaze me lol. Now I'm waiting to Bedman?, a machine unable to talk, to create his own account. But, as weird as this is, this is a step in the good direction, the old "guys" where funny for about a few days, but they would eventually turn extremely annoying and toxic, things are way more calm around here since HE left. Now talking about the real important stuff: I hope that the Asuka pros develop the Test Case 1 and 2 meta further, specially TC 2. One would think that we have seen everything that Asuka has to offer to this point, but hoo boy, we are just scraching the surface of the iceberg that the Gear Maket is...Just imagine someone switching between Test Cases and combining their exclusive spells in a real match, the possibilites are endless.
I think that would be an interesting poster to try to converse with. Perhaps you should create an alternate account and try it - you simply have to find some error codes for programming languages, and use those as your responses - it appears that Bedman? error codes originate from the C programming language. Then, you would also post short sentences, followed by some ellipses to add variety to your posts.

Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. Nothing has changed for 3 years now. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay. don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear. I just can’t believe that after a masterly xx or even xrd, they released this shame. It’s not surprising that this dirty game has gathered the worst and most prejudiced community around it.

I started using him a few weeks ago and he is tough, but slowly getting the hang of em. Hes probably tbe most unique character in the entire game.
