I am polishing an airstream for the very first time I ordered the renegade kit. Can you give me some tips ? I still have to strip the rest of the clearcoat. Do you run the polisher at full 3000 RPM? Is it necessary to wear a respirator? Thank you in advance.

I really love the wood finished in the corners with the electricity outlets. I think is gonna be my next update , thank you brother for showing us ! my only concern about the sliding cabinet without bearings is , the the airstream start moving , that cabinet is gonna be pretty hard to open because the airstream start adjusting the interior according the use.

First time dropping in in a while. Y’all raised the bar. From production quality to build, it’s incredible, just like that wood work. Love the video. Thanks!

Also, I know it’s a lot of work, but if you productized that bench build (made plans), I’d buy it

Glad you enjoy it! We are just getting started. And that's not a bad idea, we'll be thinking about how to incorporate some of our custom plans into our web store.

Love the videos! They’ve all been super helpful while we renovate our 1971 Airstream. Just wondering, how much compound do you use on a 31’ Airstream?

Hey there! Glad you've found them helpful. Typically a 31' will take about 3 brown bars for the first cut, and 1 of each of the green and purpler for second and final cuts. We also have all the polishing stuff available on our website - www.millergarageairstreams.com/store

Do you have a link to the Renegade polishing kit that you used for the Airstream? I looked at the one for Airstreams, and it didn't look the same as what you were using? Could you explain the difference in what you used as to the airstream polishing kit?

Hey there, love the videos wish I would have found the site earlier. I've spent the past few years renovating a 64 Safari. The skins are in fairly good condition since they were polished about 3 years ago. I wanted to take it to the next level so I sanded with1000 grit and then began polishing with Zephyr products. I've got two questions. How do you know when to move from the primary to secondary cut stage. My primary cutting is going well with nice vertical lines but there are still a few cloudy/striped areas. Should I continue with the primary wheel or will the next stage take them out? Second question, How can I tell if I sanded through the Alclad? Thanks for the help. As a side note, I'm just west of Ft. Worth. I feel your pain working in the summer heat!
