He ran away like a coward when Rin was 1. Divorced in 2004. Didn't even bother keeping in touch for 5 years of his stay in Japan. Returned to India and remarried, even though he knew he had a son who needed him, his warmth and a father figure. Sukhpal was living a happy life with his 2nd wife and daughter whilst Sachiye and Rin would've faced difficulties. And Rin had to go on a solo search of his father !! Sukhpal doesn't get to say that Rin lived in his heart when all he did was RUN
Hats off to Sachiye for raising a beautiful son like Rin, as a single mother and making sure he doesn't hate his coward father. You're a beautiful woman Sachiye ❤

The law is soft towards the Japanese touch even if child/children wants to stay with their foreign parent.
For example search the news of a bangladeshi man fighting for his two girls custody in Japan.

In another interview, the father said he tried to reach out many times and sent letters to the dude’s mum, but she didn’t want any connection anymore and eventually changed her contact information. Despite this, he still tried to find them when the internet became more accessible, through Instagram or Facebook. He and his new wife used to pray for this day, and they were inevitably blessed. People seriously need to stop making assumptions.

If they were fighting as much as he said and if they just couldn't work through their cultural differences, then that is no way to bring up a child. Constantly fighting and screaming at each other. Being a father and mother is a crucial role, and children always learn from what they see until they can navigate their own world of responsibility. In the marriage of a husband and wife, relationships can lead to marriage and sometimes divorce. A mother often wants her children to live with her, but we may not fully understand their situation at that time. We can only relate to the situation based on our experiences or what we have observed. A man always wants his children to be happy and often feels defeated in relationships with women. He knows he won’t win by hurting his loved ones. No one knows how much pain he feels from separating from the relationship. I believe this man has faith in God, who has given him happiness before it’s too late. I am happy for this man who has not lost hope.

Most mothers when they separate they take custody of the child and does not allow the fathers to meet their kids! The husband might be bad or whatever but he is still a father for the child! And trust me the ones affected most in this scuffle are the children who has to go through all

I have never seen a Sikh who says he is an Indian, rather they will say "Sikh from India". Why the hell you want to bring religion and region into everything? You never hear Sundar Pichai, a Tamil from India or Satya Nadella, a Telugu from India.
Somehow, you Sikhs and Punjabis think you are superior to every other Indian, that is modern day racism and superiority complex! Bollywood proves it! Every bloody song, character and film is punjabi. I remember Bollywood used to make Hindi films with Hindi songs and generally represented all Indian cultures on the world stage. They should now rename Bollywood to Punjabi Film Industry as there is literally no Hindi or India left anyway.

Why didnt u allow the son to speak his side of the story?
You let even his half sister speak!
All i saw was a father gushing over how much he loved his son !
Which speaks volumes against what he claims.
The son came all the way, just to complete a project n to get to know his father.
The father didn't even come half the way.
    He remarried !
Went on to have a daughter !
    Stay blessed. 🎉
