@4:25 Those connectors were hell to get out. The plastic housing surrounding the CCM locks them in (assumedly so the lay mechanic can't remove). Once you remove the housing, it's easier
struggling with this right fuckin now and scard to break the pcb before i even work on it

my doors dont alwayts unlock and window gets down .. maybe this module is za cause??

Mine is messed up too. NO window/s control on driver's side, No mirror adjustment, No trunk switch, & No fuel door switch. I put a string on the fuel door actuator in the trunk, no big deal, I can roll 3 windows down from each of the 3 window switches, but Not the driver's side window at all. I NEED to be able to roll that window down. Can I just replace this module or does it have to be reprogrammed also? Thanks again, take care, - Leeroy

@@leeisenberg haha I hope u actually sort the problem out too, I have bought new harness wire, door module and comfort control module, checked all the fuses and relays and everything else I got vcds and still I have no comunication with any of my doors , but I still can unlock and lock the car 🤣🤣🤦♂️ I was thinking to maybe replace the CAN bus gateway but is so hard to reach ill probably give up🤣
@@leeisenberg hey I have finally fixed the problem with my driver door, so what was wrong in mine was the door control module the, basically the car though there were 2 passengers doors installed and not a driver door and a passenger door, when I was using vcds to check the doors I couldn't access any door but I unplugged each door and plug them back and I was checking vcds when I plugged the left front passenger door without plugging the driver door vcds was able to read the door and it showed me control module 1k0 959 702 M so this mean that for the driver door I would need a 1K0 959 701 M so I bought it from ebay plugged in and everything started working straight away I took me 7 months and I bought loads of different modules and cables but at the end the problem wasn't that hard🤦♂️🤣

is this unit control headlights and parking lights........im having the issue where my windows side mirror door locks both doors and hatch release and gas cap release window wiper motor door locks all have power but no function i have 12v but no ground please help

Will a bad CCM prevent the top from opening on a VW EOS? My heat or ac doesn't work nor will my seats go forward or backwards. Are all these problems separate or could all of these issues be related??? Please help someone anyone??

hey, can this module be responsible for the fact that I can't close it with the remote control? I tried to rewrite it from VCDS but it doesn't respond (the remote control when checking shows that it works, but it doesn't work) and when the car is locked at an interval of 30 seconds from this module, a sound is heard .. the car is locked with the physical key
same here, keyfobs not responding allthough the red light is blinking ....
What was the indicator (the issue) that identified this control module was bad? Just curious...having major issues with my VW Eos. Thanks !
Let me guess - your eos mfd shows you have four doors and the back two are stuck open, preventing the top from coming down.
Also the right rear window works in the opposite direction of the other three.
My 2007 eos is borked like this - it's all over the internet.

@@lolocfmjpwp0kjcxsa Actually, my windows keep going down half way...then back up...then back down half way...when you turn off the ignition, it sometimes if fixes itself...sometimes it doesn't. Ran some tests and believe it is the window regulator.
Anyone have top issues that were fixed?? My top won't go down but my sunroof opens all the way. My heat or ac doesn't work nor does my seats work??

Jetta 2006, draining battery. Could this be caused by faulty comfort control module?
Yes I think so! I have the same issue on my 2001 fabia where the battery used to drain like mad when the engine was turned off, and my electric heated seats never turned off.

Recently I have measured 0,69 Amp draw on battery terminals. From fuses I then measured F25 0,20 Amp J519 Vehicle electrical system control module and F12 0,14 Amp J533 data bus on board diagnostics interface.
Could it be faulty J519 module? Car does not consume current always, it's quiter "random" when it consumes it, I have sometimes got fine 0,03 Amp draw from battery terminals also, with no apparent reason why draw current sometimes and sometimes not...?

It's not just the part number as this 1k0959433 is used in many models including eos.
Programming needed, probably dealer not just vagcom (eeprom)

The ac fan only work on 4 speed because you Need to change the resistor next to fan under glove compartment.
I did a retrofitting on my normal lights to oem hid, once i put high beam the low beam start flickering and I need to stop the engine, also I try use vcds to check xenón lights but the option is not there, my car is a golf mk5 TDI 1.9.
If a Change this ccm to a ccm of gti do you think I can fix my problem ??
Ivan Briones gonzalez you need a 30 byte module and coding to tell the car it has xenons equipped with or with high beam shutter

Nasir Selmani go to my gti and check the modules numbers you’ll need a highend one. But I’d recommend a 30byte one but others will also work

Hey can you answer me this please. i was doing coding and programming with a snap on machine and now my rear boot lid dont work i check all the wiring to the module its not the wiring or parts at fault i need to tell the system the rear boot lid is fitted because when i do some check it say rear lid not fitted any help will do thanks.

@@chendrebala do this go scrap yard look roughly same car as yours same spec same amount of doors, close enough same year. Go behind glove box take the comfort module out replace it with yours. Boom fixed rear boot lid. My Windows won't working for a day but they learnt them selves over hours n everything was working like before. No programme or computers needed.. cost me £10 from scrap u could buy online if u get the right 1. I took it vw private specialist before to try reprogramme it n he couldn't even do it it's too far out n confused to fix.

Yeah you actually have to lift the tab in the top right and slide the module about 5mm to the left, then it 'unlocks' the connectors.

No. The BCM is a 2009+ module which incorporates both #9 and #46 in a single module.

Hi i have 2010 vw caddy, my key has stopped working on central locking, i can hear a clicking noise coming from the same area as where you have taken this ccm out, would that be my issue as the key manually opens and locks all the van doors and starts the vehicle.
Did you ever get an answer to this? I have the exact same problem with my 2008 Golf!
