Sorry I'm only commenting now, but better late than never. What can I say about this great band. First of all, they are (in my opinion) the best and most innovative band there is now when it comes to this style of music. Madeleine Liljestam you are simply fantastic, sensual, bewitching, beautiful, with a wonderful voice you know how to best interpret the songs you sing, with professionalism and with an uncommon grace. ELEINE, the seductive and dark side of symphonic heavy metal, probably one of the best bands I've listened to over the years in this genre. (ENEMIES) is a wonderful and compelling song, with a wonderful symphony that drags you from start to finish.Ultimately ELEINE is more than original as an active band for this genre (Fascinating, Seducete, Dark, Sinically perfect) which strikes the listener with a huge sense of wonder and originality.Honor to merit, we are only at the beginning of this great band, which over time will reserve us several tricks up its sleeve that will make those who love this musical genre happy. Your observations about Madeleine are spot on and the guys in the band come off extremely tough. I think she looks like a lioness and for some reason I am infatuated with he now and how the bridge goes straight up to her forehead as it comes off beautifully and sets her apart from everyone else.

I have always been into Symphonic - and Powermetal.. Like Sabaton/Powerwolf, Within Tempatation etc... i like to discover newer bands..
What I really, really like about Jesper is the crispness and uniform consistency of his strikes, no matter the speed or rhythm, and the seamlessness of his transitions. One of the most underated and under appreciated drummers out there, in my opinion.

I'm an oldschool Metalhead from the 80's and if you told me back then that after 2020 Metal would be like 70% Women vocalists.......and I would have imagined like a bunch of Lee Aarons or something. How wrong I was. I even perfer female vocalists now.....Madleine, Alissa White Gluz, Floor/Tarja, Once Human, Simone Simons, Sharon den adel, Kobra Paige, the list goes on and on
It's really awesome to see how Madeleine gets so into the music. In every live performance I've found, she is just as expressive!
This band is awesome and the woman is an enchantress, combining beauty, talent, power and influence with her performance. She does not need to be like other singers, singing pop-metal and boring stuff like that. She is perfect!

I just never tire of hearing this. There have been a lot of bands before playing in this symphonic metal space, a lot of bands bands now, but I've never heard such Power and Melody put together at the same time as this band does.
And boy are they fun to watch.

Good news, my rule when listening to new band for the first time on youtube is scroll down quickly so I don't judge the song based on visuals.
Riffing is pedestrian, typical pop metal masquerading as symphonic metal (strip the distortion and you have a pop melody), drumming is mechanical, nothing special, vocals are bland, even for symphonic metal standards. But nice tits.
