I think as far as Metal, it's hard to beat Jonathan Young, but the harmonies in the original version were just... haunting at times. Both are extremely valid.

MoS made the original song, he just made a metal version of the song. MoS' metal version is in no way a cover.

Of all the metal versions of this I've heard, and nothing against the original, this just nails it perfectly. Perfect harmony in the vocals, just the whole mix dude. Fully deserves a chef's kiss.

There's an old video of him on a Q&A panel at the first and only Escapist Convention ever held back around 2011/2012 where he's speaking alongside Yahtzee and Graham from LoadingReadyRun that may or may not still be up.
