I listened to this during the hurricane a few months ago when the Category 4 hit. I couldn't sleep well and prayed for my friends and family to survive and they did. Even though we lost a lot of things God opened up a new chapter for us and restored what was lost and I can't thank him enough for this. Even as the world is crashing down around us, he never forgets his promises and that's why I love him

I don't think we can scientifically explain God. He knows how everything was put in its place and the very atom where it should be. We don't even know 10% of our ocean, do we really know the full works of His hands? No, and never. We are limited, we don't even understand our own hearts, how can we understand the deep complexities of his design? It's the over ambitiousness like Icarus that thought he could reach the sun not even thinking of his limitations. The thought that one can reach Gods level of intellect is laughable. Can a child say he knows the future that his father planned for him or the wisdom of his years?

I really like this song, then one day I heard the lyrics in it "I am the universe" at time-stamp 2:35. This is wrong, and false doctrine. It's called pantheism. It is the belief that God is in everything. The universe is the creation not the Creator.

Kredenz P. I understand omnipresence. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3. This does not equate to God is a part of everything.
My question is, where in the Bible does it refer to the creation being a part of God. It's not in there. If it were, how could God decree the Second Commandment. If I made a statue of a golden calf wouldn't it be a part of God and the same as worshiping God, since God would be partly in the statue?
COMB0RICO I've not studied the bible much, but here's my understanding of your question: It's true that all energy, whether material or spiritual, is God's energy. But material energy (matter) isn't transcendental to this dimension and therefore worshipping matter binds us more to this world. So perhaps that's what the Second Commandment is trying to avoid -- worship of matter. The particular path I follow (and I do believe there are many paths, some more suitable for certain periods in time),does have external representations of God for worshipping. But just the fact that these physical statues, or pictures, etc., exist doesn't mean He is present, it depends on the person who is doing the worshipping/praying, and how sincere they are. Idol worship is definitely something to be avoided -- and just going through the motions. When there's no sincerity, He is not there. It's complex and I don't know everything at all. Another way the Lord appears in this world is through the sound of His Holy Names, and that's the most conducive way to attain spiritual happiness in this time of chaos and confusion.
Slightly random tangent..but, Buddha is also God, however if you read His teachings, it's confusing and contradictory. He says there is no God, and preaches non-violence, etc. For that particular time and place, I guess he thought, baby steps. Just get people to be in a goodness mode. The most recent appearance of the Lord (Chaitanya) was about 500 years ago, and His teachings apply in this current period. Anyway, laters.

Love most all of your songs, but there is something in this one that concerns me. Near the end there is a lyric that most people I have talked to try to explain away. At that benefit concert in Missouri, I asked you about it and you denied having sung it. Why? I'm guessing that you know down deep that it's not true. God created sheep, bulls, goats, doves, pigeons, quails, grasshoppers, locusts, fish with fins and scales to be received with thanksgiving. King Jesus Christ never ate swine's flesh, the mouse or any other abomination. Are you following: the true Jesus or another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4)? the true gospel or another gospel? the Holy Ghost or another spirit? The word of God must be rightly divided.
