- Frustrated with Nixie and Sirena, Lyla works on catching Zac alone. While trying to get Zac wet, Carly Morgan spills a drink on Lyla. She rushes to the cool room of the Ocean Cafe right as she transforms into a mermaid. Lyla tries everything to get rid of her tail, but nothing works. Eventually, Nixie and Sirena find out Lyla is missing and discover that she is in the cool room.

after first for episodes i like it more than the first series. I think that awkwardness here is cute. It was fun to see how girls explore world of money and electronics, wearing dress for the first time and were scared by a cat. Maybe it doesn't work for girls that well. But for me fish-out-of-water theme was presented perfectly.
I feel Pretty bad for Rita.

I adore Sirena!! She's not just a pretty face but her voice is amazing!! As a singer myself, I absolutely loved hearing Sirena sing on Mako Mermaids. It's mostly cos of her voice that she ended up as one of my two favourite characters on the show (the other being Mimmi)

Some thoughts during today’s episode: Wasn’t lyla only wet on the tshirt? Why did it take her so long to dry herself off even with A/C on in a cool room lol? Is the cool room wet? Also evie has a right to be annoyed with the girls but she’s being petty and fairly unreasonable if she liked the shoes and put them back… completely fair game if Nixie liked the pair of shoes too lol. The writing doesn’t make sense haha
