I get emotional with this man. there's only a few people on this planet who can say their song is known throughout the WHOLE world, and not just in the English parts of it. He has such a beautiful, rich voice, from the first recording of Eduard's to the last, it was always a fantastic voice everyone was so synonymous with.
You rarely meet a person so charming, that you just love them for even existing. Like Mark Hollis, or Karel Kryl, or for younger generations, Mike Yung.
Rashid Behbudov and Muslim Magomayev were also really popular singers, but I don't think they ever got traction or attention outside of the Russian-speaking world that Eduard Khil did. I still listen to this song and I am happy that it exists

If he was lip synching, he did a damn good job. This type of vocalisation doesn't require a whole lot of lip movement, it's mostly done in the upper palette and throat, not the lips. It's possible he isn't lip synching, not likely, but still possible.
He did, later in the same year, that this was made. The meme died shortly after his passing, give it a some time, and the song's fame status will be back

I vote for god. :) It's pretty incredible, and he was a professional baritone. His profession and his passion, from his wiki, so it would make sense - you take care of your voice when it's your money maker! I vote for god. :) It's pretty incredible, and he was a professional baritone. His profession and his passion, from his wiki, so it would make sense - you take care of your voice when it's your money maker!
So much of this is coming from his diaphragm and I'm sure his throat is crazy open and controlled! It's like watching Roy Orbison sing too; that man barely opened his mouth at all and the most incredible, full sound would come out anyway.
