I prefer my dragon shield matters over my katanas. I'm impressed with the katanas cos they feel like the old kmcs but apparently the y changed the new old hypermattes again so I dunno how they compare now. Also the first batch of katanas I had had a built up on two of its sleeves that formed something like a nipple which made those sleeves catch on the other sleeves never had that problem with other card sleeves. Plus I like how dragon shields come with an extra few sleeves in case some of them are unusable. Plus the dragon shields have a lot of different colors

Well, someone made it this far.
If I could wish for anything in these videos, it would be a little editing. Just light trims in the runtime, as well as text on screen instead of on cards in the background. It would have made the ranking at the end a little more clear.
I watched this because I just bought DS Matte Copper for my Commander deck, and the shuffle feel is absolutely terrible. Cards catch and take considerable effort to actually get them to get them flush again; it's like fighting with the deck I try to shuffle.

If they catch you're probably not shuffling correctly or its a bad batch

I would love to know how the Ultimate Guard Katana sleeves held up compared to the Ultra pro Eclipse

Eclipses are trash, they hold oils and begin to cause friction making the shuffling process take longer and not be as smooth. But the Matte Katana shuffle great but the durability is horrible

I enjoyed this vid. Pretty strange with the ding on the katana's. Seen several reviews and I think it's the first one I see with that. Even though you put UP's Eclipse on Second, what is it that you like more of the Dragon Shield over them?
RodCU dragon shield have durability. I have edh decks from almost 4 years ago and they hold up. They also have great customer service if you end up with a dud box of miscuts. Many colors. Well known with great installation.
Eclipse have a matte front so they get cloudy fast. They shuffle great, I’m not gonna lie.
Yeah no one else seemed to have that issue with katana either in my friend group. It was very weird. I also don’t see them for sale at many places. They do shuffle great but are very slick, especially 100 high.

how are the KMC hyper matte to eclipse compared?
I am going to say kmc will probably last longer in lifespan. But they’re getting hard and harder to find. Haven’t seen any in store for years.
