Steve has a serious problem!
This is ruining the guy, he's breathing hard from a steady diet of cigarettes and booze. He asks the dealer to tell him if what her cards total. He won't listen to anyone. I really like the guy, but this gambling is sucking his soul out. He's becoming a bullheaded idiot.
He managed to find 15k and turned it into about 70k and wasn't even excited. Friends begged him to leave and all he would say is I just need to win the next 50 hands and then I'll leave.
He won't leave until he's Bankrupt and loses all his friends. Steve is not the guy that will go to rehab, so sadly this story doesn't end well. I have watched him from the beginning when it was fun, but it's not fun anymore, it's depressing and pathetic. I will not be watching anymore as Steve continues to lose everything!
