I think people really need to reach out and tell the team they need to update the playstation and now xbox version to run at 60fps. Each of these console (ps4 and xbox one included) should have no problem running a game like this at 60fps.
They should even update the game to have 4 active characters instead of 3 along with making Anri and Maho playable instead of limiting them to the Switch for no reason.
there's no reason why this game shouldnt be 60, but the most likely reason why it's 30fps on consoles is due to certain aspects of game being coded with 40fps game speed (i dont rememeber the exact issue, but it has something to do with a unity setting). playing the game on pc at 60fps, and especially at 144+, makes many objects and background elements look like they're stuttering. im sure they're aware of the issue, but dont care enough to bother fixing it. especially since they were too lazy to include vsync or capping frame rate as settings
You can even get the Steam Deck to run at 60FPS (or close to it) with my optimization mod for it. I literally don't see how they couldn't target 60FPS unless it's just them straight porting the PS4 version to newer platforms.
@@magica_ch_They're using FixedUpdate with a 50Hz rate (Unity's unchanged default) for movement. You can raise the rate, move the character movement logic to Delta Time (although this may have bugs), or interpolate the movement (to keep the desired effect but to make it appear smoother) to work around this. The battles seemingly use standard Delta Time (the elapsed time between two frames) and is unaffected by this problem. Unsure how the enemy AI plays into this, but I remember hearing that there was problems with the battles being harder with a higher framerate.
Om definitely getting a physical copy of this for my Series X. This will probably be the only Neptunia game we ever get for the colsole, so i need to own it. Definitely a plus that it comes with the swimsuit dlc.

To anyone who continued to think that "dEvElopiNg f1r 1 pLaTform iS bEttER" that is shattered with this. Game runs exactly and fails exactly the same with the same glitches and stuff. Just admit Xbox ports are just as reasonable as anything else
The existence of a Neptunia game for Microsoft consoles is pretty cool. I hope that they release more Neptunia games for Microsoft consoles and I say it as someone who only has an Xbox 360.

I really agree with you and I also use the photo mode. Fir example I used the Lightsword like the Yu-Gi-Oh Lightswords. XDDD funny things are possible. But men I totallt agree you again!😊
Vert finally got a game released on her console. It only took a drcade. She still should have been the Cyberdimension protagonist. It was based on the in universe game she's always playing so why not? (I miss those outfits.)

@@dayvonlouis5187 I never seen that game. Oh and Blanc,Rom,Ram,Uni and Ploot had the best outfits. Uni's outfit more accurately shows her delicious flat chest. Remember her hdd form is only two center meters smaller.

As a fellow Neptunia PC player I recommend looking into mods that fix/improve the games. In particular I recommend the Neptastic mod for the Re;Birth games (improves quality of several visual effects and allows you to control the internal resolution to either improve visual quality or increase performance) and the Megaresolution Neptunia for Megadimension Neptunia VII (allows you to control the internal resolution, it doesn't work with VIIR as that game was made with a different engine). SvS also has a mod that restores the original script without having to downgrade the game.

If you are playing the PC version, there is a mod to "decensor" the dialog. See the game's PC Gaming Wiki page for details.

Still want Hyper Neptunia Reverse on pc for four party member . Hyper Neptunia rebirth 1 only has three party members.
Xbox still doesn't have a port of Hyper Neptunia 1 so if it gets a port a Hyper Neptunia Reverse maybe pc can as well.
Agreed. I never understood why Re;Birth1 and SvS have a three active character limit. It just feels awkward and in case of Re;Birth1 it IMO makes some battles unbalanced especially in the early/mid game (in the late game it's almost impossible not to be overleveled unless you're skipping the majority of the optional content).
Switch hogging Anri and Maho while having the limitations it does, very silly. I was hoping it was just timed and that by Xbox release they'd be available everywhere. Ugh, I have a Switch but I don't want that version at all. I'll get the game on Xbox finally and then a double dip on PC. Who knows maybe someone kind will mod the PC version to make Anri and Maho playable anyway. Lastly thanks for the Xbox review~! (and the footage)

It's nice that Xbox players get to play this game without needing to worry about jumping through hoops for the swimsuit dlc. I really wish that IFI would add the Deluxed Edition dlc to the GOG version at some point. Wasn't it bad enough that GOG players had to wait 9 months after the Steam release just to get the game?

The only frustrating thing in SvS is its quest system, especially finding certain items, and fighting x number of certain enemies.
They don't give pointers where you can find them in the dungeon, (they do tell which dungeon they are)

Shanghai Alice is based Reimu Hakurei and even fights similar to her.

I love the Neptunia saga, but I notice more and more censorship and that they insinuate less and less, those swimsuits are practically super covered, I don't see that they innovate and are encouraged more with fanservice and I think we were all playing. So that's me :(, I feel like I'm not attracted to this game anymore. It's a shame, but I'm looking for ecchi anime games and Neptune is becoming less and less animated in the ecchi .
I really recommendet Switch Version. Graphic is worse but meeen so many extras in photo mode then extra characters I really love this holy game! Never want it give away😊
