Good morning ma'am, ma'am entrance exam mein kaun se subjects hain jinse questions aate hain? Maine dekha ki micro, macro, maths, statistics, econometrics, aur research se aate hain. Ma'am main Janna chahta hu ki kya isme inke alawa bhi kisi subjects se questions punchhe jaate hain, jis tarah NET mein punchhne jate hain?

How to make an effective research proposal and how to explain methodology..like ma'am mujhe research methodology ka practical idea nhi hai, like research tools and techniques etc . Plz explain!
for that you will have to read research papers from google scholar on your proposed topic

@@shagunpriya1978 yes that is the technical part of any proposal but that is hardly asked in an interview. Focus more on the theoretical portion of your topic and focus more on your subjects. In most of the interviews you'll be asked questions on your subjects only, less emphasis is given to research proposal. there are hundreds of statistical techniques available today you can't get a hang over every technique, but you can get complete in formation about the basic tests like t test f test anova etc. OLS MLE, MOM, simultaneous eqn modelling etc.

I want to ask one thing I've joined PhD with Jrf in some state university. I got a govt job within a month after joining. Can i pursue phd with job ? Or is it compulsory to complete course work in a regular mode?
See some universities allow and some do not..please ask research unit of your university or any other department in your university that deals with PhD queries

net ke basis pe beta khin admission nhi hoga..apko jha bhi admission lena hai vha entrnace dena pdega then interview ..han agar jrf hai to kai university me jrf ke basis pe apko interview ke lie seedha bula lia jata hai to entrance nhi dena pdta..

ugc net is mandatory to become assistant professor. Even if you do phd from anywhere you will have to clear ugc net

No..you will have to complete MA in sociology first then only you can take admission in msc zoology

Hello ma'am, Is doing Phd from ignou is valid or not? Because in the latest guidelines of ugc has stated that distance Phd is not valid. So how you have enrolled in ignou Phd?
phd is the only program in ignou which is in regular mode and not distance. you will have to come to ignou main campus in maidan garhi to attend lectures.

no! ignou me bhi milti hai jrf scholarship...infact agar apke pas jrf nhi hai to ignou top rankers ko ignou rf bhi deta hai of 8000

@@fluffy99. I am also JRF holder , I am getting JRF in IGNOU. and it's a myth that phd is part time in ignou...PhD is a full time degree at ignou like any other University

Admission hone ke baad phd location kahn hoti hai,what about campus and hostel
for 6 months classes are held at main campus of IGNOU i.e. in Maidan Garhi near Saket Metro Station Delhi. There's no hostel facility you will have to arrange pg or a flat nearby.

@@Vipin_nirmal yes you can do phd remotely as well after 6 months of coursework. You will just have to come to consult your supervisor time to time, that you can easily adjust with your supervisor.

Hi, I have 59.25% score in M.A English from IGNOU. I want to pursue PHD in English from IGNOU. But I don't know if IGNOU offers the same or not. If not, can you suggest any other UGC approved Open universities, for the same, if possible. Thanks in advance.
IGNOU offers phd in english, please check the prospectus given on the website for the same.

@@kts8278 30 non net candidates get IGNOU RF pf ₹8000. For that you will have to be on top of your subject as there are 25 subjects in which admissions take place and from one department hardly one or two student will be able to take up this fellowship.
