I just watched a video on how important the air filter is 😂 I do run an air filter on one of my bikes now but it's only because I drilled a hole in it and I have my nitrous nozzle in it and it works great
Hey@@HughesMotorized i have a bike that was running, it's got a different kind of carb.... I tried plugging the carb over flow drain, i undid that. I had the bike upside down. But one day i only got a few chugs... And today it ran great for 2 seconds i got the rpms up high but then it bogs and you get a fews chugs here and there after..... Is it wires?... Not had the bike very long. Thought it was flooding, the carb is big and looks close to the engine.
So im having trouble with a brand new 2 stroke 50cc engine that will start when pedaled and clutch is engaged but wont accelerate and just bogs down, initially it worked but now something has gone wrong after just 30 minutes of running. I have adjusted the jet and the float to all possible positions and no change, I will continue to mess with the float tho. I have checked the sparkplug and it works fine. Any tips? Surely the carb doesnt need cleaning its brand new.
The wire that goes down to the carburetor is probably not seated correctly.Just lift it up slightly and then release it so that it will travel down as low as possible. Simple as that.
@@JoshMo1993 Must be. I've been running my 2 stroker w/ no filter for 10 years. Did a rebuild like 5 years ago after I let it sit out in the rain and weather. Runs fine ;-)

Hey I have problems with fowled plugs and have to have throttle half open to start and gas leaking out carb .
Gas leaking = dirty carb or float needing adjustment. Watch the video
What about the magnet.
Does it have to be gaped if so how much ?
I have cleaned it. But now it accelerates on its own. Can you helpn me ?

After how many miles do we clean them?
2-3 times a year or if you are having performance issues
@@HughesMotorized ok thanks Brother
It wouldn't get so dirty if you use a AIR FILTER!
Ride safe my friend......
$30 MILLION FERARRIS RUN FINE WITHOUT AIR FILTERS. I'LL ASSUME YOU KNOW MORE THAN FERARRI, MASERATI, DUCATI, ALFA ROMEO. OK.
@@HughesMotorized because dust, dirt and road grime are great for your combustion chamber and fuel delivery system...
