  • First plowable snow for the 2022-2023 winter. Testing out the old plow I mounted up to my 2022 CFMoto CForce 500. Overall I was very impressed with the power and weight of this ATV. Had about 6+ inches of heavy wet snow, kept the machine in low gear and never even had to lock the differentials. So far, so good if you're looking for an opinion on these CF Moto machines.

Works fine… I’ve got Rubicon 500 I plow with. Works great

Right on, DunkleChuck! I know there are much larger machines out there and just wanted to show that a 500 is plenty capable of getting work done. Thanks for the comment!

Thinking about getting the same machine. I have a old 2007 Polaris 500 now.

Hey Jim, So far so good with this machine. The power steering is very nice. Best of luck if you decide to buy one and thanks for the comment!

Timber Ray, there ain't nothing wrong with keeping machines going as long as possible! I had an early 2000's Polaris that I brought back to life (in another video). Was a great machine for many years.

Looks like some wet heavy snow

I was, and we've had a few more storms since. The machine definitely has more "umff" than my old Suzuki King Quad!
      Thanks for the comment Markku!

Sean, what’s the snow plow mount part number? I have the same Cforce but can’t find the mounting bracket. It looks like you’re using a different plow then the Cfmoto one.

Hi Brien, I looked around for a CF moto mount as well.....but they only had newer style. They are set up for flat steel instead of the square tubing that the older plow (that I'm using) has. So I am using the old Universal mount that came with the plow. I had to take off the middle plastic belly pan, from the machine. Then, 4 U bolts around the frame of the machine.....and down thru the universal mount. You are not the first person to ask.....maybe I will do a quick video to show it. The thing is so old, that I don't believe it has a newer part number.

are you using 4low? Have you run into any problems with the 500 not being able to push the snow due to it being to thick or heavy or mushy?

Hi Sheldon. Yes, I have been using 4 low while plowing. Honestly have not run into any issues of power yet. Back in the 80's and early 1990's a 500cc machine would have been to biggest beast around. This 500 has not had any problems......but I do use a big snow blower on foot plus storms. (a plow makes snow banks, and once they freeze....your driveway starts to shrink) Just hooked it up for the season over the weekend and I was thinking that showing how I have the old mount bolted up could be helpful to some folks.
