Whether it’s decorating a cake, making a meal plan, designing stuff for your shop, just your lifestyle brand in general.....it’s just so...I don’t know how I would describe it. The party and everything was darling! Speaking as a grandma of eight, you are doing well with the children and their training.......usually little girls are about 2.....(my girls were)......and our son was about 3 and that is good for a young little fellow I think. I worked so it was a busy time and my hubby in the military and gone all the time so it was up to me. That was the norm for our times it seems, not sure what new mommy's do now a day but when they are ready it will BE. LOL
Loved the cake, Josh is a real trooper and you are super mommy in my book with all you do..........I wish I had your energy level again. I did back in the beginning......but then do we have a choice? LOL Sweet little ones need us and we need them to grow up with happy memories and a good life so mommy's and daddy's are pretty special people. Loved this video.......so so cute and the cake was darling!

I live out in the country (45 mins. to town) & Friday is my grocery/errand day. Meaning I dont cook on Friday nights & our favorite go-to is our litte local Mexican restaurant. Fairly inexpensive plus we get to see/visit with a lot of our neighbors who do the same on Friday nights.😉
Fletchers haircuts so cute ! Evonne seems like such a careful little girl . You can try to train Fletcher but let me tell you I had three boys in three years and put them an me through all kinds of stress! Then finally the fifth , sixth and seventh child I waited until they could get there own underwear up an down by themselves 2 1/2-3 and they trained themselves in a few weeks ! I couldn’t believe the difference!
same, my girl trained herself much sooner, but the best advice i got was to not think about it untik theyre three unless they initiate it. so far its all happened before 3 but ive got b/g twins (#5/6) coming up so we'll see how it goes with them.

Oh my Fletcher was so good when he got his haircut. I use to be a hairdresser and first haircuts could be trama.
He made me hold him, but yeah he did fine then!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked My 4 year old son is a saint as long as I hold him. We just went the first time in more than a year due to COVID, and I couldn't go back to the chair with him. He was a huge handful and cried/screamed the entire time. The gal had cut his hair before with no problems. She even said next time she will bend the rules and let me go back to make it easier for all of us! I gave her a big tip for all the trouble.

I only had girls, but I believe that boys usually potty train later than girls. Love the idea of keeping up the decorations. Kids' birthdays should last for more than a day.

I agree about alcoholic drinks being the most interesting! I’m pregnant right now so I’ll just ask for one of the alcoholic drinks but made without the alcohol and they’re usually still really good!

My daughter was stubborn with potty training. I waited for my son to tell me he was ready. One day he just said he didn't want to wear a diaper, so we went with it.
That cake was great. I love how you did that. The kids are so great. I love watching you be a mom. Josh is great too. God bless all of you.

Loved seeing Vonnie do dishes and thinking what a good mom you are to let her do this. Most of us are too worried about the mess and she is learning to be a great homemaker 💜 plus I can’t believe he is turning 2. I’ve been watching you from the beginning and I remember you telling Josh you were expecting #2. It was so sweet.

My family keeps the sabbath from Friday night to Saturday night. So we do a big family dinner and then we all just hang out together and spend time together. Most of the time my son and my mother in law dance for awhile😊💚 it makes my heart happy

One thing I learned after having four kids is that is doesn’t pay to start potty training early. My youngest is deaf and we were told that it often takes deaf children longer to potty train. So I waited til she was about 3 1/3 or almost 4. She was trained in a day! That also means that it wasn’t training me to remember to put her on the potty. She actually knew she needed to go and she went. Also, only positive reinforcement and never ask them if they need to go. Just tell your child that it’s time to go potty. Sticker charts with a treat every few stickers.
Every Friday, we do a takeout night for dinner. We take turns choosing where we want to eat and order it to go and have a family night
It's so fun to have something like that to look forward to!

As for potty training, I didn’t start either of my kids until they turned three. They were both potty trained in one week and no bedtime accidents , since they were older.
I cannot believe your Chick-fil-A takes an hour at dinner time! Ours is always SUPER quick. The spicey sandwich is my fav!

Megan we love doing mock tail bars! Our favorites are Shirley Temples, Italian cream sodas & mint monitor! Tons of them online!!!! The cake was cute! Great ideas!
I’m a preschool teacher and we often have to train kiddos! In my experience getting a training toilet seat cover seems to really help boys and makes less of a mess!
Thanks. Maybe I need to order one. We have a small potty that's portable, but maybe a seat for the actual toilet would help.
That cake and all the decorations turned out so good.
Absolutely love the train table. Got the same one for my grandson when he turned two he will be 11 this summer and he just stopped using the table with in the last year. Even after he was no longer interested in cars and trains he still used it for Legos and other table top play.
We had our fist hair cuts at home in the high chair, and dad made me pancakes that helped!!
Sonic has pebble ice if you have one of those in your area, may help with wait time in the future because chick fil always super busy!

Don’t stress over the potty with him my son potty trained at 2 but most of my nephews were closer to 3. He’ll get it. Love the birthday theme it’s a favorite of many little boys.

My Friday nights are usually boring but we have finally started getting cousins together (a whole bunch of us) for at least 1x month outings. We had bowling night this Friday and was a great time.
On Friday nights, I do laundry mat run. I do this to avoid the busy weekend. Then I go to the gym.
This was SO enjoyable... I watched it twice!
Awesome cake and I really enjoyed watching you interact with your kids, you have actually given me ideas for things pertaining to kids activities. I have a 2 and (almost) 4 year old, and my daughter loves washing dishes but our current situation doesn't really allow for it.
I am so interested to see more of your videos on potty training because my son is 2 also and... yeah, potty training has been more difficult than with my daughter.
I may talk about it in future videos, but there's not much I can actually show. If I learn anything helpful I'll make sure to pass it on.

I try to follow EC (elimination communication) with my kids but it was far more difficult when I had 2, and then 2 under 2! It looks like she bought it at Green Hills Farm discount grocery in the Lititz area. They also sell big tubs of icing like that at Martin’s Quality Eggs in Ephrata.
Just ordered a pack of beeswax wraps for my Mom for Mother's Day, can't wait to see her try them!

Our kitchen is closed on Fridays, we do take out. Chic-Fil-A is a favorite but ours always has a line too. However, they’re very efficient, so the wait is 15-20 minutes. I didn’t know you could get ice there, good to know. Happy birthday Fletcher 🦖🦕

I’ve always heard a general statement regarding potty training: Girls at 2, boys at 3 ( GENERAL readiness) so..... don’t fret, you’re doing great!👍💗

Loved Fletchers cake. On a Friday we quite often get a takeaway delivered, normally Chinese or Fish and Chips but we have to go out for that as they don’t deliver 🤣

We love our Traeger! Pork butts are the best! But we love putting grilled veggies on there too! It makes them taste so much better! Also I feel you on potty training. My daughter is five and my son is two. My daughter was potty trained at 20 months. My son is 2 1/2 and he will pee on the potty if I put him on but never asks to go in his own. I hear it’s totally normal but I’m ready to be diaper free! 😂
