Very nice interview ....Great advice from Billy for all ages. He has great performing experience & super insights... Loved the stuff he did with Steve with DLR where they would play passages together live & be so together they could make your ear think you were hearing an octave divider....Billy always gave credit to John Entwistle too for his influence with different Amps for different bass outputs. True Temperament bases & guitars are interesting though I've never tried them myself even though that B string keeps going sharp....lol...I know Steve has used them & also the great Mattias Eklundh.....I just checked out You Tube footage of Elen and Hovak .....She's obviously an extraordinary natural talent & with folks like Billy's advice she has an amazing career ahead of her ...Remember the great violinist Yehudi Menuhin was a young prodigy.....When I was Elen's age back in the 1970s in the UK the only instrument you had to play or could afford in school was the recorder & I had to teach myself guitar when I was slightly older. People like Billy ,Steve and Eddie VH campaigned successfully to improve music in schools with instrument availability which our generation never had & to take the music to youngsters so they can know it from an early age ...We owe these musicians a great debt not just for their wonderful music but also for giving back to society musical opportunity to youngsters at an early age. ... 37:52 - 'What do you do if you speak from the heart & someone sounds obsessed with you & you don't like them' ? ...lol...Oh dear, have I been overposting on sites too much again🤔 ? ....Probably ME ....Ooops ...Sometimes my enthusiasm can get the better of me & make me sound bonkers in the nut,,,,(Sorry Steve) 🥴😬🤥 lol
