Gotta admit i cheaped out this one trial in order to obtain the achivement, i was tired and i played this on story mode, 2 hits on each one and that was all xD.
In the time it takes him to beat the Scorchers you could finish the entire trial.

Exactly man like one scorcher can one shot u half the time but two preaty much waste the entire trial time trying to kill them

@@ninja.saywhat i Tried that but it seems as soon as you shoot a corrupted arrow at them the round meter immediately depletes meaning they 're immune against those arrows

I live the way these videos make it look easy =P when he throws that rock and the scorcher goes to investigate it, 9 time out of 10 they never seem to do that for me lol

Used this method and finally was able to beat this sumbitch. That mine launcher from the scorchers really came in handy with the bellowbacks. Cleared that area in about 10 seconds 🤣
Your method saved me. Tried others, even have all weapons maxed, but only log method gave me 3:51. Cheers buddy.
Awesome method, although *technically* the quickest would be if you didn't get grabbed by the Frostclaw towards the end there :)
I did this using one less log trap in the first arena, so lost time there, but I reckon I completed the bellowbacks faster by loading 3 sharpshooter arrows with the Banuk booster on their weakspots. Fun trial & so satisfying!
I'm playing on ultra hard, I can't seem to kill the frost claws in time. I have big trouble with them. The scorchers and fire bellowbacks are the easiest to take down.
i think the stormslinger might be good for quick dmg.
by default i usually use only precision arrows on frostclaws...to freeze them by exploding their freeze sacks and then spam full draw triple shots from the maxed banuk powershot bow on the eyes.
@@cobrazax why do you not use hardpoint instead it has higher tear and just slightly lower impact around 10 with the best mods and the hardpoint shoots so much quicker

i think it has way less damage, but if u load them quickly enough they can do similar damage.
its best to focus on triple shots to save draw time.

Which "runes" are you using in the weapon? I have 2 51% damage on it and still can't reach the 1280 damage you cause. The creature remains alive.
pay attention to the secondary stats not just the main one. in a lot cases here, the secondary stats actually counts more towards improving your weapon's efficiency.

You missed one trick that really helped me when dealing with bellowback. There are actually 3 logpiles around the area that you can use. I lured bellowback under one of those and triggered it using one single hunter arrow and was lucky enough that pretty much all logs landed exactly on the machine. Effect? Instakill and finished challenge. :) As I said, there are 3 of them in the area so you can either use other ones earlier or have two extra attempts ;)

Yo can do it more cheesy, with my epic tech, finish a run but instead of rappel to the end, walk all the way back to the first 2 and extract the mine launchers and carry them to the frostangrybears stage, then procede to start the trial again and voila, now u have 2 mine launchers to cheese out the bears 😂😂
Why do all that nonsense when you can take them out even faster with the Icerail?

I can kill those bellow backs with jpowershot bow in under 30sec. Frost Claws are evil if they come at you together but they are managable you just have to be careful not to alarm both of them at once. those scrochers are real time eaters. I'll try the logpiles trick now. Thanks

Tho if u have the skill that allows u to use 3 arrows in one shot I've found it quicker to use 3 hard point arrows on the banuk hunter bow with a charged shot it preaty much destroys the component instantly, that and it charges up faster than the sharpshoot bow

I wouldn't call this the best time or best strategy. Especially when all you have to is freeze both of the Scorchers until kill over with the Icerail. Then use the Flamethrower on the other four. It worked for me giving me a Time of 2:32

Check that video out, I did a run in hard difficulty just to test and it took me about 3:20, but the one I linked just a bit over one minute

This is great but it most be in easy or something, no where close to the damage I do, even at the same damage output
Someone is definitely playing on easy or story mode, i can get through scorcher and bellowback stages no issue, then i cant get the frostclaws to go where i want, and tanky af, even on normal
And I taught I was bad ass ....not bad at all........advice scan your robots weak points and exploit them especially the 1s with weapons very very effective against them and others

Man, I just suck at this trial. I tried this method many times but still missed the mark. The hardest part for me is shooting the logs for the frostclaws. My timing is always off.
I think the update to the game took this into consideration. It’s harder to get them closer to the logs and the first log kill doesn’t give max damage, I’ve alway had to re shoot. Closest I’ve been is 4:50. Still not giving up though.
the idea for the scorcher is good but not practical same with the frost claw, the logs are very helpful but can be tricky and quite time consuming. the bellowback one was freaking slow. i don't think this is even on ultra hard. i can kill it with 2 salvos of precision arrows (2x3) on ultra hard and would usually take 15 secs or less for it.
Guys I didn’t use any logpiles cos blast sling does the trick!

I managed to kill all of them without using a single log under 4:30 lol. Guess I’m sweaty enough to finish it in 4:22 minutes, unfortunately around 5 tries tho
quickest way is to lower difficulty to easy (if you need only achievement)

For some reason when I do the hunting grounds it doesn’t give me my platinum but I got blazing sun on all and then I tried doing it but I couldn’t so I put it down to story mode and I don’t think it works for story mode but does it work for easy mode

Wait how did you get those weapons? In the frozen wilds quests do i need to get the half sun in order to continue with the story??
You can still continue with the story without doing this quest. Just do the other one (clear bandit, clear tallneck, help with pigments).
From the bandit, you will get fireforge (used to kill frostclaw in this video)
From the main story, you will get icetrail (used to kill scorcher in this video)
You then proceed far enough with the main quest until you meet Varga. Ask her to upgrade both this weapon (this video uses both upgraded versions). Follow the sidequest (kill ravager + bellowbeck).

I am convinced this is impossible, i waz able to get to the frostclaws by 2:00, but then they are tanky as fuck, cant kill them in time, on normal btw
Uhmm which difficulty were you on? Story? In the Ultra Hard difficulty , you would probably get killed for using the Precision Arrow on the Bellowbacks......
Is this on easy because I only get them down to half health with the log trick.
I’m playing on ultrahard and the scorcher dies right away with the logs. Sometimes not all the logs hit and you have to shoot a little bit more

Very sloppy but using the logs on the scorchers is very smart

I was wondering how the frost claw didn't kill him the moment it grabbed him, but then I remembered that not everyone is cut out for ultra hard mode 😂. I've been playing ultra hard mode from the beginning and forgot how easy everything could be. It was worth the platinum trophy though.

No need to use the weapons shown. Use the logs and you can complete this with your default bow.
