    I am currently tutoring one of your students. I taught intro to stat for years. I can see showing students the formula, but then why not introduce them to the calculator functions- binomialpdf and binomialcdf???

      Thank you for your advice, but we don't require TI 83 (or better) for the class.

      @@helpyourmathstat perhaps you should. Students should be exposed to technology, especially in the 21st century. No statistician would use tables. I hope you don't use them for the normal distribution. Do you object if students use the calculator?
