I don't know if anyone reads these comments anymore. I want to share here even if it is between God and me, when my time for adoration draws nearer and nearer until I get into my car and still more. And then I park. Still more. I open the door to the chapel and finally, the anticipation, the excitement, and the longing are at an end and I am at peace. I give my Guardian Angel over to be with the Lord as I sit and am with the Lord and there is no better place for me to be in that hour, but there in that Chapel with Jesus. Holy Mother is there as well. I can pray. I can say the stations of the cross. I can read a book that tells me about God. I can just sit and be in the presence of the Lord and do nothing. Simply nothing. When my hour is up, I find I often feel like it was not an hour at all. It's time to go back into the world. And somehow there is a sense of leaving my father and taking my Guardian Angel back with me. Then a very good sense of empowerment comes over me. I am filled with strength. I received the Body and Blood in spirit when I was there. I open and accept Jesus when I am there. I think of my wrongdoings and confess while I am there, straight to God. No other human need be present. And mostly, I am quiet when I am there and simply in the presence of God. Sometimes the Lord tells me something, but mostly we are silent in the presence of each other and feel 100% whole. I open my sinful soul and allow God to peer inside of me, although I know he already knows what he will find. I give it to him. And wrap his hands of love around my heart. That's all. I just wanted to tell you. Thanks. Little Nellie of Holy God, pray for us. Amen. Mother Angelica, pray for us. Amen.

at 7:41 - looks like, Patricia Heaton - the wife on ''Everybody Loves Raymond''. probably her: a 'revert' to Catholicism, and active in pro-life causes, Feminists for Life for example. one of her sisters, Sharon, a Dominican nun. [incidentally, Everybody Loves Raymond was a favorite TV show, but I quit, effectively a boycott, when I heard about the actors' salaries - obscenely high, I'd say. but that's another story.] Mother Angelica: R.I.P., ''well done faithful servant''; this series: very nice, something to actively watch, learn things, or as audio background, a calming influence.

The third order Carmelite who called in was not in the wrong to “sleep” peacefully in the Lord’s arms during Adoration. St. Therese was known to do it, too. This is the time when God puts your wordly senses to rest so he can work on you interiorly, but it isnt the same sleep as we experience when going to bed at night or for a nap. It is a spiritual “sleep”. It is too bad that back in 1998 she didnt have a Carmelite Friar or Carmelite priest to tell her what was happening to her interiorly and to not be alarmed. Mother seemed to grasp it, and I am glad she gave her those insights.
They dont want you to listen to the voice of God in silence.
